I worked at White Spot Restaurants part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you like work with food it is a good place to work. It is a big company and you can learn a lot and even increase your career there.

    Cons

Depends on the Chef and the Manager. Despite that, take care about WhiteSpot at Marine Drive inside of the Hotel. I worked there two days and the Manager never pays me and I was not the only one.

    Advice to Management

You should figure out about your employees and what's happening in the kitchen.

I have been working at White Spot Restaurants part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great Coworkers, tips aren't bad, good learning experience

    Cons

Schedules aren't flexible. They keep giving me hours where I cant work/ For example: if you say that you can only work in the mornings, they would still put you to work at night. BS. They don't care about you. kitchen managers are horrible. they only care about themselves, not the coworkers. SCHEDULE ARENT FLEXIBLE. QUITTING SOON

    Advice to Management

Stick to your words, communicate to other kitchen managers about scheduling. Other people have other jobs instead of working there.

    Pros

You get food discount, food taste pretty good. My co worker is really helpful in terms of helping me when business hours are hectic.

    Cons

Typical kitchen environment. Very hot and a lot of yelling. I would not recommend any of my friend to apply for this job. I am also few of the girl who worked at the kitchen, some of the boys act very immature and talk down on women. It is a complete joke, no professionalism at all.

    Advice to Management

Manager did not treat their employee with respect. The manager itself is someone that got the job because his family was already in the business and he was lucky to be pass down this position. (nepotism)
