    Pros

    Clean working environment
    Residents are great

    Cons

    Team work was not present

Try to emphasize teamwork to provide the best resident care, CNA's are assigned 8 residents but they should all help each other when it is needed.

    Pros

Pay is comparable or better to same position other places (to start)
Floor staff all friendly and practice good teamwork
Administrators were approachable when there was a problem

    Cons

While initial pay was competitive, few raises were seen over 8 years there.
Very hectic environment, almost a hospital.
Tons of paperwork, less face time with patients
    Expensive insurance
North Shore population (the patients and families) can be very demanding and rude

I worked at Whitehall Of Deerfield full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good staff below management level. Clean facility but could use updating.

    Cons

No raises. borderline unethical at times. Management only cares about themselves. Management focuses on the small problems that aren't even problems and not the bigger issues. Good employees keep leaving. Workers aren't valued or respected. Not the place it used to be. The only time the higher ups actually pitch in to help is when there is a survey being done. Insurance is ridiculously high. HR is really non-existent to handle worker's issues. No accountability. Unrealistic expectations.

I have been working at Whitehall Of Deerfield full-time

    Pros

Friendly staff for the most part. Great potential.

    Cons

Horrible Pay. You can work there for years without a pay raise while making bare minimum.

    Advice to Management

Have a better relationship with all employees. Pay employees fairly.
