Good company to start out at... But not a great place for a career

      Pros

Great company to start with Looks good on a resume Large scale and high profile projects Decent benefits

      Cons

Long hours with frequent weekend work and overtime. No training you'll need to figure it out as you go and bosses will tell you that. The company is growing to fast and almost all project and operating groups are under staffed. Large work load with little help. Relocation is all but certain. You won't have a life outside work because the job consumes you. Don't be fooled by their golden carrots nearly all the good benefits are only attainable after working there 30 yrs +. In the meantime you'll be burning yourself out physically and mentally. If you don't have an absolute love for construction and don't mind the negatives aspect of the job don't work there. You won't be doing what you went to school for. If you're work as an office guy (pm or pe) you're pushing paper, putting lots of fires out, and your basically a lackey for your boss. If you work as a field guy (super or fe) your basically babysitting subs and trying to meet unrealistic scheduling targets.

      Pros

Great benefits, good opportunities, great job security, good people. Backing from a big, reputable company.

      Cons

May require travel, long hours, below market pay (great benefits though). May get pigeon-holed with the type of projects you do.
