    Pros

I really like that the management trusts that you will do a great job. They are very ambitious and work hard to please the customer as well as find ways to expand. There is a lot of room to grow, especially since they want you to grow in your knowledge.

    Cons

Can't think of any cons to be honest.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing a great job!

I have been working at Whitlock full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great company to work for! Management is easy to communicate with and they allow you to create your own path for success. I’ve watched many employees take on new roles that had never existed before, simply because they put in effort to develop themselves in what they are passionate about. Culture is very strong and family focused.

    Cons

I do not have any at this time.

    Advice to Management

Create more standard trainings across all regions to provide consistency.

I have been working at Whitlock full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I have worked at quite a few companies and many talk about culture, Whitlock really focuses heavily on it. The team really feels like a family. We are a major player in the AV/IT arena. Great brand recognition

    Cons

Internal systems are a bit antiquated. New CRM should help that

    Advice to Management

The engineering and delivery teams are overrun. The amount of work they have is not sustainable. Continue adding resources to accommodate the growth, but overall the management is great

I have been working at Whitlock full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Employee Development, Abundance of Manufacture Product Training, Financial Support to Obtain Info-comm Certifications, Cell Phone Allowance, Christmas Bonus, Christmas Luncheon, Strong Local Team, Premium Grade Tools & Laptops, 3 Weeks of Vacation plus 5 Sick Days, Strong Focus on Employee Safety, Lots of options for advancement and relocation.

    Cons

Difficult sales goals with-in a restricted small area. Company guidelines limit local integration to 30 miles south, 45 miles north, or 12 miles east due to being in other region's territory or the Atlantic Ocean.

    Advice to Management

The next step to employee engagement and development after manufacture certifications & info-comm CTS certifications should be distance learning ED2GO. There are currently 2 Managers registered for Communications classes and 2 Lead Technicians registered for EXCEL 2013. It is exciting to see our local team continue to grow and develop that includes long term goals.
