I have been working at Whole Foods Market full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Feeding people what they want and introducing new produce to customers. Able to train and mentor and grow my coworkers, as well as grow with them.

    Cons

Unrealistic expectations at times, as well as tight on labor. Different upper management will lead to different experience in the position.

I have been working at Whole Foods Market full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Fine insurance, great co-workers, different paths to success. They put an emphasis on self initiation, this really helps build your skill set.

    Cons

Lots of ambiguity, constant change with out support from leadership. Too many things to do and not enough time or support.

    Advice to Management

Listen to team members and customers.

I have been working at Whole Foods Market part-time

    Pros

    - Great work atmosphere
    - Flexible hours
    - Employees worked well with each other
    - They have Employee Appreciation weeks where they give us breakfast some days, pizza others, etc.
    - Good starting pay for a grocery store
    - If you work hard, you have the opportunity to move up

    Cons

    - Leadership is always changing
    - They did away with team builds

I worked at Whole Foods Market full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Generally good treatment across the board.
Decent enough 401k/benefits options compared to similar jobs (retail/grocery)
Most departments have flexible hours to meet your needs, with the ability to pick up shifts in other departments at times.

    Cons

Pressures from regional to get more done with smaller labor pool never stops.
These days there is very limited growth, probably going to be even harder with Amazon buyout.
    Very picky corporate culture.

    Advice to Management

Enforce rules equally. Store/Regional leadership need to crack down on department heads slacking off / making lopsided schedules.
