    Pros

    This company has great benefits.

    Cons

It is very hard to move up or find other job opportunities within the company.

    Advice to Management

You should hire more people that work in the store level to positions in global. Don't forget you have a lot of talent there too.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Whole Foods Market part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great benefits and good (if not low) job expectations. Incentives to employees promoting the "healthy" lifestyle they preach to the public

    Cons

Overpriced even with discounts, unfair division of work, keeps employees with high number of complaints but not mentally challenged folk, holds onto loyal but poorly-functioning employees instead of hard-working newbies.

    Advice to Management

Double check your policies and who needs taken care of first before letting go of people who were genuinely helpful to us.

I worked at Whole Foods Market full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Great benefits, discount, great co-workers, and lots of opportunities to move up. I worked in two regions and 6 stores, started as a bagger and left as a team leader. You really can work hard and move up.

    Cons

Sometimes training for management caters to a specific type of learning. Inventory hours were hard when they started at 8PM and ended at 5AM. Retail hours are nights, weekends, and holidays. Everyone is expected to work during the holidays, so you have to be okay with not seeing family unless you work part-time.

    Advice to Management

Work on training for a wider range of audience. Is it possible for inventory to not be an overnight thing as most people are not used to working overnight.
