    Pros

    No ego
    The corporate values are real
    Everyone has a voice
    Simple purpose...Saving Lives!

    Cons

Not a con but a reality. We are in high growth mode which is inherently intense and at times chaotic. The Scaled Agile operating model helps to maintain focus and a path that moves continuously forward.

    Advice to Management

Stay true to your culture; and keep your heart in the business.

    Pros

Passion for innovation. Commitment of the leadership team. Empowering employees is a priority. Building products our customers want. No internal commercial conflicts. Our success is linked to and not in conflict with our customer’s.

    Cons

If maintaining a status quo, organizational hierarchy, and rigorous stable unchanging processes appeal to you, look elsewhere.

    Advice to Management

Keep taking big swings and make sure the foundation stays strong.

    Pros

Very well organized interview process. Direct and to the point. Quick to contact back and fair interview. Management and ownership shows it cares for it's employees. Listen to everyone and entire staff is courteous and helpful. Great benefits and pay is a plus on top of a great work environment. Very positive energy to the company that's tough to explain. The products are innovative and first of their kind. People genuinely want to work to make a difference and save lives and it shows! Business is booming and the company is growing quickly.

    Cons

Genuinely none that come to mind

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work! It's very nice to see all company meetings and listening to all your employees. You do a great job of keeping the people happy and the work and success of the company so far shows for it.

    I worked at Wi-Tronix full-time

    Pros

Lots of friendly people who want to do a good job and believe in the product and the mission of the company.

    Cons

Ever since the late release of a new product, the company has been in chaos with significant turnover of seasoned employees. Everyone is overwhelmed and is too busy responding to management changes to support each other. Expect to have the world asked of you, but to have no support from anyone to do your job.

    Advice to Management

The culture is toxic and brings out the worst in people.

    I worked at Wi-Tronix full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits. Good Compensation. HDHP which seems to be the norm but there's an HSA contribution that makes it pretty good.
Very talented staff. Engineering heavy with a lot of advanced degrees.
New Exec additions will be beneficial with someone who can finally sell the product which has been missing for years.

    Cons

Lack of processes, leadership and accountability.
Core values are preached but not adhered to.
Work life balance is non existent. The employees are overworked and that's the expectation. A comment was made "if you're the type to want to tend to your tomatoes, then this isn't the right place for you" which means forget about having a family or interests outside of work.
Bad habit of moving under performing people into different roles that also don't fit their skill set. Including a founder who's job title and description has changed too many times due to immaturity and lack of leadership skills.
The culture is generally that of disgruntled employees. They are overworked and not listened to. There are too many meetings so the efficiency of the organization is low and there's too much wasted time and money in excessive and redundant meetings. Leadership knows it's an issue and does nothing to change it.
Certain customer facing leaders lack the professionalism and grasp of proper grammar, spelling and punctuation. Too many internal and external communications have been sent as word salad which comes across as unprofessional and uneducated.
Lack of accountability, while this is another core value, it only applies to staff when it comes to reviews and performance increases. Objectives are unobtainable and yet the objectives for the executive team are constantly being missed, changed and eliminated to fit some arbitrary goal.
Bad behavior is consistently tolerated. Gossiping, Rumors, Harassment, bullying and abusive language has led to an uncomfortable and at times hostile work environment.
The stress level is through the roof due to the extreme workload and problem riddled products, which is exacerbated by some in leadership and I have personally seen people in tears due to it.
Lack of trust and respect in the leadership. Too many people in leadership positions are not respected or trusted because employees get thrown under the bus because leadership can't take personal responsibility in the failure of their departments.
Customers are not listened to, years go by without issues or requests being fulfilled.
Too many reorganizations, processes have to constantly be revised, roles changed and it creates gaps in accountability and frustration for the staff. Also drives IT crazy trying to keep up with permissions and access rights.

    Advice to Management

Lead by example. Respect and trust do not come with a C level, VP, DIR or Manager title. it is earned and there are too many employees who do not respect of trust the leadership.
Stop wasting talent in mindless jobs. There are employees with masters degrees that are not being given the opportunity to use those skills and are being wasted and they will leave.
Stop accommodating for poor leadership, everyone knows who is and isn't a good leader. There are natural leaders there that aren't leading and people in leadership positions that have no business managing subordinates but continue to be put in those positions even though they keep failing at it.

    I have been working at Wi-Tronix full-time

    Pros

I like my team and co-workers. It's an innovative and a one of a kind product.

    Cons

I really don't even know where to start...the biggest issue by far is the human resources department. I have never ever seen or experienced a more unethical HR department and the sad part about it is upper management has known about these issues and have pretty much turned their heads the other way. Employees are quitting left and right and no one seems to care. You can't go to HR for anything because if you do your issues are pretty much spread on the front page news.

They preach "right person right seat" here, yet they don't follow that what so ever. If they truly felt that way they would have done something about human resources, along with a few other managers.

It's terrible to be in an environment where a majority of the employees literally dread coming to work because the culture and morale are at an all time low. Employees talk amongst each other because if you voice your opinions or concerns they are usually dismissed or you are told "we are looking into it."

    Advice to Management

I don't know why you are letting things continue to run the way they are. I know you've been approached about HR numerous times, yet, you brush it off like it's no big deal when it's probably your biggest issue here! Listen to your employees, actually do something when you say you will, you've lost everyone's faith and trust.

Most importantly, stop burning everyone out for crying out loud! The work/life balance is an absolute JOKE, it's non-existent!! People should not be punished if they consider their family first over their work. As soon as you become a Wi-Tronix employee you can pretty much expect to see your family a few hours a week, at most. Nights and weekends should be your time with your family and you should not expect anyone to be at your beck and call, that is so beyond wrong it's not even funny.

    I worked at Wi-Tronix full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Based on what other companies are providing their employees these days, what i found during my interviewing for my current role, there are hardly any pros to working for this company I can think of that stands out.

    Cons

For such a cutting edge company, with a great talented work force, they lack the policies, procedures and benefits of current standards. The benefits are from 15yrs ago based on what employers are offering these days.
-Horrible medical benefits only offering HSA insurance with insanely high deductibles. No offer of a HMO or PPO at all without HSA.
-Vacation time or PTO is very very weak. 13 days to start and that includes vacation, sick days, bereavement, or jury duty. Majority of salary positions outside of this company include unlimited sick days.
-Management is not accountable for their actions or work, but micromanage everyone else and "pawn" off their work on others. Employees are held accountable for their work and actions, management is NOT. Who is reviewing upper management when they don't meet their goals? No one is.
-Heavy heavy turnover rate, cannot keep existing employees happy and cant hire competent workers for the position they were hired for.
-There are 2 major divides in the company, Management and everyone else and it is felt by all.
-ZERO work/home life balance. Working for Wi-Tronix becomes your life. Expect LONG hours, no comp time, and expect to do whatever to get the job done with little to no reward.
-The most unethical HR Management I've experienced in my life, to the point of breaking the law on many occasions. Belittling, threatening, morally demeaning is what to expect from HR.

    Advice to Management

Advice to the owners would be to take control of your company, look at how management is running the business and change it. There are several executives that have brought the company down and they are bad seeds that need to be removed for the company to flourish. The product is great, the innovation is top notch, but the everyday business practices are horrendous.
LISTEN to the employees, listen to the people when they leave the company and the reasons why. The executives should be involved in the exit interviews to learn why turnover is such a problem. Sadly all the problems and issues with Wi-Tronix never leave the exit interview room.
