I have been working at Wichita State University full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Nice environment - access to gym, places to eat. It's nice to be around students - we likely have a good future if they are any indication. Leave time is really good. There is generally good support for professional development opportunities.

    Cons

Stagnant pay - expect until KS gets its act together. I effectively make less money after 3 years than when I started due to health insurance increases and only a single 1% raise. Parking can be rough when school is in session. Your direct experience will vary highly depending upon direct management, could be great, could be so-so. I think most positions are pretty flexible - again, your mileage may vary.
