I have been working at WideOrbit full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The team is relatively small, but it's part of a medium-sized company. So you have lots of opportunity yet more stability than a start up. Great place for full-stack developers, or to learn to become full-stack. The office is pretty quiet and everyone gets along and works well together. Benefits and salary are competitive and time off is more generous than most other companies. Work-life balance is pretty good as well...

    Cons

Since it's not a big company, it can't really compete with big players in the market in regards to signing bonuses, stock options, and end of year bonuses. Also, the higher up you advance the more likely you are to work more overtime.

I worked at WideOrbit full-time for more than a year

    Pros

People in the trenches care for the most part

    Cons

Company have expensive mistakes and takes to long to make corrections. Quit adding features to hide flaws. Fix what needs to be fixed. And rewrite code to be a true SaaS solution. Don't go there unless you are looking for 1-2 year stop over.

    Advice to Management

Listen and make corrections. Break the silos or it will all crumble away.

I worked at WideOrbit full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Free snacks, fair benefits structure, CEO seems to be passionate about taking the company to the next level.

    Cons

Constant pressure from management with unrealistic deadlines. You will be reminded in your 1:1s about how much the company pays you. Expectation is to send emails during the weekend to “show” everyone else on the team that you are working (manager told me this). There is a VP and everyone is expected to blindly agree to whatever he says, there is no scope for innovation or free thinking. Directors are VPs pawns. Lastly...

Can't really think of any. Snacks? free coffee maybe

    Cons
