I worked at Wilchins Cosentino & Novins full-time

    Pros

Location is good as it it right off the highway, and easily accessible via back roads as well.

    Cons

I worked there briefly for one of the senior partners. The office area is so messy and unorganized - that I would be embarrassed to bring a client into my office for a consultation. Work is redundant created huge repetitive paper files. Senior partner is verbally abusive, and constantly belittles employees. Never had so much stress from a job in my life.

    Advice to Management

Aside from having a personality transplant, maybe working in customer service could train partners how to bring some kindness into the office.

I have been working at Wilchins Cosentino & Novins full-time

    Pros

This firm has a professional and friendly atmosphere. I feel like I am treated respectfully and continuously challenged but not overwhelmed. This is a fantastic place to learn more about the field and to gain more experience. All employees and attorneys are nice and patient.

    Cons

The commute off of Route 9 can be difficult, there is a lot of traffic in the morning and in the evening due to construction. This environment is also fast paced and new employees have to learn quickly.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the positive atmosphere

I have been working at Wilchins Cosentino & Novins full-time

    Pros

Everybody is really nice and very welcoming. You learn a lot as you are dealing with complex matters, and if you have any questions there is always somebody you can ask who will be more than willing to help. The commute is very easy, and it is located right by 2 major highways. The pay is competitive and very fair.

    Cons

    I have none so far.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great atmosphere.

I have been working at Wilchins Cosentino & Novins full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I have been with the firm for a little over four years . I started as a paralegal and now I work as an associate attorney. The experience I have gained here is beyond anything I think I would have gained anywhere else. The matters we handle are complex and interesting, and the supervising attorneys really take the time to help newer associates understand the issues and apply the relevant law. The attorneys here are...

The commute into Wellesley is a little difficult coming from the west on I-90.

    Cons

The pay and retention rate were concerns while I was worked there, but many of these issues seem to be resolved recently. They seem to value individuals who can grow with the firm, and pay and appreciate them accordingly.

    Advice to Management

Keep looking for young, eager talent to grow with and support talented senior partners. Keep mentoring junior attorneys through networking events, client development, and teaching sessions.

I have been working at Wilchins Cosentino & Novins full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I was studying for the LSAT when I first started my position here as a receptionist. The attorney's were supportive and knowledgeable, always willing to answer questions I had whether it was about the test, law school, or the field of law that they practiced. They are always willing to give out projects to help pass the time, which was a fantastic experience. The salary and benefits are competitive for the position...

    Cons

The location isn't the easiest to get to, especially by train. There is a shuttle at Riverside Station but it rarely runs on time. There is not much within walking distance for food or coffee, so if you are commuting, the cafeteria in the office park is your best bet.

I have been working at Wilchins Cosentino & Novins full-time

    Pros

Competitive salary and benefits for this market. Diversified workload, opportunities to work on a variety of matters. I have yet to have the same day twice. The pace can at times be challenging, but is never boring. I enjoy my work. Attorneys in my department are knowledgeable, willing to teach and supportive of professional growth.

    Cons

Turnover in experienced positions is rare. Opportunities for advancement to such positions somewhat dependent on timing. The office park is located at the intersection of Rt. 9 and Rt. 95. There is a cafeteria on campus, but nothing else within walking distance.

I worked at Wilchins Cosentino & Novins full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Convenient office location right off of 128

    Cons

Anyone else find it interesting that all of the good review were written around the same time and sound pretty similar? Don't believe them. The pay is still low and the turnover rate is still high. Hard work is not rewarded and there are very few long-term employees.
