I worked at Wild Adventures (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent work opportunity for first job, for students, for folks returning to the workforce and for folks starting over. Learn basic work skills, moderate opportunity for advancement.

    Cons

Generally working outdoors, can be physically demanding, minimum wage, almost no benefits, part time hours, long days. Not a bad place, not an easy place.

I worked at Wild Adventures part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work is pretty easy, good training, fun atmosphere, once you finish your work you are able to leave or you can conduct cash audits to get more hours in

    Cons

You don't know your work schedule far in advance, have to work almost all holidays and weekends. Can work up to 10 days in a row during the summer months

    Advice to Management

Have schedules prepared earlier and make sure certain employees aren't working more than 6 days in a row

I worked at Wild Adventures part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

This is a wonderful place to work. The company cares about you, and they care about your family. The atmosphere is fun to work in, and they work with your schedule. At the time of employment I was in college, and that helped tremendously.

    Cons

Considering the fact that the majority of the park is outside, when it rains...You get drenched. Always bring a change of clothes, and be prepared to work EVERY holiday except Christmas Day.

I have been working at Wild Adventures part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people you work with are the best, and you get plenty of hours during the summer. Lots of room to move up.

    Cons

You work outside, whether that is sunshine or rain.

    Advice to Management

Communication between the separate departments seems to be lacking.

I have been working at Wild Adventures full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You work in a theme park which can be fun. Great place to work if you're a people person.

    Cons

The culture here is very forced and I believe the management truly believes in it but it doesn't trickle down to the minimum wage high schoolers. Also, never forget that it get 100 degrees plus in South Georgia and you're working outside. There's no benefits or health insurance for employees.

I worked at Wild Adventures full-time

    Pros

Free theme park entrance. Thats it.

    Cons

    Management sucks.
    Minimum wage.
The work to pay ratio is garbage.

    Advice to Management

Raise the pay to at the very least 8.00 to may it feel worthwhile. No damn way should anyone have to work damn near 80 hours to make $500. Warehouse employees should have highest pay. They basically do EVERYTHING on the park and only get paid minimum wage. $12 is the very least warehouse should get paid compared to all the work they have to do.
