I have been working at Wild Apricot full-time

    Pros

Lots of self-learning and personal development. Surrounded by encouraging and honest people/mentors. Kitchen is always stocked (Can't complain about wine and snacks). Career opportunity can be self-created. Great downtown Toronto location.

    Cons

Can be a bit of a culture shock with a horizontal "management" structure and with no one breathing down your neck to do your job. This environment is not just for anyone.

I worked at Wild Apricot full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Casual atmosphere, fully stocked kitchen, work/life balance, work from home if needed

    Cons

Since being acquired by Personify there is too much emphasis on the bottom line, keep increasing prices to satisfy investors. No more investing on any long-term plans, or anything that doesn't pay off in the short run.
