I worked at Wildcat Discovery Technologies full-time

    Pros

Talented people, hard working scientists and employees.

    Cons

Startup with no exit strategy. Always in hurry, without properly thinking about the end goal.

    Advice to Management

Need to define the end goal and exit strategy than pushing employees to produce 200% better material than state of the art. Set the direction and stop doing micromanagement.

I have been working at Wildcat Discovery Technologies full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You can learn new things while working on different company projects.

    Cons

High pressure environment (as usual for startup)! Company generates some IP in partnering with big companies and provide service. The business model does not allow it to grow beyond certain point! Looks like it is saturated!

    Advice to Management

    - Go beyond high throughput testing and generate products!
    - Going fast does not help! Need to think about product and strategy to enter the market!

I worked at Wildcat Discovery Technologies (More than a year)

    Pros

    Fresh Talent.
    Multi-level product ownership.
    Personal investment in projects.
    Great employee relations.

    Cons

Company depended on Venture Capital for research so project efforts were tempered by funding availability. More consistent efforts toward revenue would help.

    Advice to Management

    Greater push toward new projects.

I worked at Wildcat Discovery Technologies full-time

    Pros

_You get to work with amazing scientific minds
_You help develop truly cutting edge battery technologies
_There is always a wide variety of projects which keeps the science interesting and helps you grow
_Employees on the scientific and engineering side are friendly
_Opportunities to get name on patents
_Company has a hot reputation in the battery field. Good company to work for if you are a scientist trying to make a name for yourself in the field.

    Cons

_Employee management in this company is disorganized
_Keep extracting more and more work out of employees without reciprocating in bonuses or increase in salary
_Not much future if you do not have a PhD or are not in management

    Advice to Management

If you are going to work the employees as hard as you do, reciprocate in some way. Company morale would greatly improve if there was some financial incentive for the amount of hours and work put in.
