I have been working at Wilhelmina Models (More than a year)

    Pros

Wilhelmina is publicly traded, so their main concern is maximizing a model's billing potential.

    Cons

Wilhelmina has many models, therefore it is easy to become obsolete and agents can spend less time on any given model's career.

    Advice to Management

Continue to develop each and every model even when he or she is steadily booking.

I worked at Wilhelmina Models part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This is a fun company to work for, and it is a great stepping stone into the modeling and entertainment industry.

    Cons

There isn't much room for growth if you start out low, because it is extremely competitive.

  11. "Horrible place to work"

I worked at Wilhelmina Models full-time

    Pros

Not many pros but the office is always filled with models and celebrities which makes for an interesting workplace. Also, free bagels on friday mornings.

    Cons

Most of the employees have a horrible attitude towards one another and gossip behind each other's backs. Some of them are great but they are few and far between and most of the nice ones work in accounting. No matter how long you work there you are lucky to get a hello from agents or "marketing" team. People here seem to think they are as important as the models they represent. If you are hired as an entry level employee you will be treated like an intern and asked to do mundane tasks. They try to sell you on the Wilhelmina name which you will quickly realize means nothing.

    Advice to Management

What upper management? I think the VP comes in once a week....
