Pros

Liberal arts school in downtown setting with enormous potential.

Cons

"Gotcha" mentality across campus to find fault with the work of employees/contractors.

This is one of the friendliest places I have worked.

Cons

Being in downtown, the campus can be affected by other events. This includes parking which is bad even on normal days.

Pros

Good people all around. Fun environment at times. Always new things going on in the ever changing environment. Growth is coming.

Cons

Work life balance can be difficult to manage. Probably better suited for the really young, single, or those settling in.

Good co-workers. Higher Ed environment with flexible hours.

Cons

No strategic vision. Administration cares on a superficial level. Low pay, extreme hours and a LOT of overtime without pay. HR is clueless and not a leadership partner.

Pros

This position is close to my home and allows me to continue with my graduate education at a nearby institution. Small and cozy city atmosphere with kind students, staff, and faculty.

Cons

After a great deal of thought and careful reflection I do not have any cons to report at this time.

Pros

Classes are well organized and information is well communicated. Students are great and teaching class on Saturdays only is a plus.

Cons

Some of the classes don't necessarily get taught in the right order for students- methods courses for example should possibly overlap more so that students can use their knowledge from each class
