I worked at Williams Lea Tag full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The pay rate was not bad

    Cons

Nothing they told me about the job was true. They list jobs that don't exist. They treat people like cattle.

    Pros

    Cons

They like to hire out-of-towners. If you're outside of the Wheeling area, the commute will be long.

    Pros

Good if you're a freelancer or just starting out in the industry. the people are amazing and will make you feel welcome.

    Cons

if you want any sort of career progression/pay rise, forget it!

if you make a mistake then you won't know about it until it's too late leaving you little time or incentive to learn from it.

    Management is a joke.

    Advice to Management

invest in developing your staff. sell the company to an agency that knows what they're doing.

    Pros

Some really great people work there.
Coffee from the in house cafe not bad for the price .

    Cons

Some really bad people work there.
Most people use it as a stepping stone to a better paid job or escape as quick as possible.
Doesn't matter how much input and hard you work you produce the management will be oblivious and only reward their 'favourites'.

    Advice to Management

    There's no point - they won't listen.

I worked at Williams Lea Tag full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Young office, fun people to work with, good place to gain experience for new graduates or people transitioning into the advertising world

    Cons

Terrible pay, long hours, poor advancement/professional development opportunities, sexist executive management, no more employee perks like free snacks, Beer Friday, holiday parties, etc.

    Advice to Management

When I worked there, the environment was akin to a high school classroom - lots of cliques and gossip, even from the top management. If you invest more in dedicated employees, you wouldn't have so much turnover. Stop sending your production offshore and support NYC workers!

    Pros

The client gives a lot of great experience. The people on the team are great for the most part. Some of the projects are getting creative. Other vendors are great partners.

    Cons

No upward mobility. Poor communication. Zero open door policy. No allowance for dissenting opinions. Business practices suggested date back 20 plus years. It's management's way or the highway. Turnover has increased. Everyone is working in silos and hoarding info.

    Advice to Management
