    Pros

The office atmosphere is laid back and still everyone knows their job and does it well. Great work life balance.

    Cons

Processes still need to be streamlined across the entire company to gain efficiency and consistency. Lack of communication company wide.

I worked at Williams full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Work-life balance is great
    Camaraderie a plus
    401k/Pension is competitive
Diverse Workforce, Unless You Work in Tulsa

    Cons

    Layoffs
    Below Average Pay
    Lack of Synergy Between Regions
    Decision-Making is very Bureacratic

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and demonstrate true servant leadership. Cover-your-butt management only leads to failure, and the poor handling of the Access Midstream acquisition and Energy Transfer merger led to failed opportunity after failed opportunity retaining some great industry talent. Good luck keeping your staffing up when your aging workforce is ready to retire.

    Pros

Excellent company. Trying to stay abreast of future opportunities.

    Cons

The oil and gas industry can have downturns.

    Advice to Management

You need to use Williams employees in leadership. Access employees have messed things up and have not taken accountability for their actions.

I worked at Williams full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some wonderful team members with amazing potential.

    Cons

Supervisors who don't understand the position of their subordinates. They push you until you break. At that point hopefully you're smart enough to move on. Roles need to be defined and not constantly added to. All employees should be held accountable for their jobs.

    Advice to Management

Stop rewarding the slackers! Treat the good employees right and they might dedicate their career to you. Provide career opportunities to those who don't just brown nose their way to the top but actually work. Managers, realize that good employees don't leave a good company. They leave bad supervisors. When it happens on a regular basis it might be time to look into it.
