    Honest Review

    Pros

The employee discount was pretty good. The associates were hard workers and invested in the business. Corporate eventually would weed out the bad District Management, although, it usually took time and could be a painful process.

    Cons

Way too much pressure reaching corporate metrics. The pressure to open store credit cards is ridiculous. The amount of conference calls is obscene. Hours cut because of slow business so we are operating with two people and one of us has to leave the floor to get on a call to talk about why we haven’t opened a credit card. Expectations are staggering with the amount of staff you are provided. Whenever there is a corporate visit everyone works like animals to beautify the store for the illusion that this is how it always is. The low raises are usually insulting.

    Pros

Great employee discounts across the brands. Great team.

    Cons

You are thrown into the job, which is fine for some people who are smart, but it can be difficult for those who need to have the hutzpah to go after what they need to learn. There is no employee training manual or I haven't been shown one. The register and computer systems are extremely outdated, and it's convoluted to just look up a product sku.
