    I have been working at Williams-Sonoma full-time

    Pros

The advancement opportunities are they if you are willing to come to work and push yourself to gain knowledge.

    Cons

There is not enough training for the driver, There are so many temps in and out that it creates never ending inventory issues because they flat out don't care.

    Advice to Management

Try and hire more fulltime associates that actually will take pride in their work instead of a bunch of temps to save a dollar,

    Pros

As an IT , professional there were plenty of challenges working with cutting edge, and legacy technologies. Being a relatively smaller retail company there was a tight knit approach to getting things done. There was natraul togetherness approach to getting things done.

    Cons

IT functions in retail companies are challenging. There are limited locations to work at, and conditions at job sites, are an after thought.

    Advice to Management

Focus on organic growth as well as new markets

    Pros

Telecommute, Excellent Wage,Empowered to make decisions

    Cons

Was only hired for 3 months and one month was training. I only marked one star for Career because long term was not available.

    Advice to Management

Let perspective employees know in advance extremely short seasonal position. Lead line was an excellent resource if not counted against you in metrics. Not sure if it was. I really liked my trainer and supervisors assistance when available. Otherwise awesome management.

    Pros

The best discounts!!! Because it was a part time job, they were very flexible with my schedule.

    Cons

No major cons. Sometimes it got too busy during xmas time to really help everyone in the store, which should not be the case at their prices.
