I have been working at Wilson & Associates full-time

    Pros

Working at Wilson has presented many opportunities for career advancement and professional growth through the support of the Leadership team. It's rare that you find an organization who works diligently to provide you with the tools and knowledge you need to succeed while creating a diverse environment where your "uniqueness" is welcomed. The employee incentives are extremely competitive, including a compressed... workweek schedule to allow short schedules on Fridays.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work! Your passion for being the best place to work is paying off.

I have been working at Wilson & Associates full-time

    Pros

Generous PTO and paid holidays, free gym access, nice downtown office, management is willing to work with employees for flexible schedules, awesome Christmas party and other fun events throughout the year

    Cons

Things can change quickly, so you have to be able to adapt to new situations

I have been working at Wilson & Associates full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great community of people with some generous benefits. Many paid holidays and the office closes at 2:30 on Fridays (if you have met your minimum required hours)

    Cons

The healthcare plan is an embarrassment. Since moving to the new headquarters in downtown Little Rock, the atmosphere was remarkable. Special events, more of a family than co-worker feel, and you had a feeling that you were valued. That has eroded following the move.

    Advice to Management

Remember what Richard Branson said - If you take care of your employees, they will take care of the clients. Involve yourself with the day-to-day actions of your management, supervisors, and lower employees.

    Pros

Are there any pros? If so, please let me know.

    Cons

Upper Management is awful. They spend more time getting their nails and hair done and less time managing. They pass all of their work on to the Managers under them and then take credit for the work done by the others. However, if Upper Management drops the ball on anything, i.e. doesn't pass it on to actually get completed, then they find a scape goat and get them fired to take the fall. They will work you to... the bone and not allow you to take time off. If you do actually get to take any time off, then you will be required to take a lap top with you so that you can still cover your job, even though you are still having to use your vacation time in order to get paid.

    Advice to Management

Spend your time wisely actually doing your job instead of pawning your tasks off on others and actually MANAGE. Allow your employees to have a work / life balance instead of a work / work balance.

    Pros

Good hours and pay, only Mgmt acts like it's the best place in the world.

    Cons

Workload can be heavy, very repetitive.

    Advice to Management

Give entry level employees a reason to stay.

I worked at Wilson & Associates

    Pros

Decent benefits; after several years your PTO is generous... but you may not be able to take much time off

    Cons

Micro-management, very little room for advancement; infrequent, if any, raises

    Advice to Management

when new strategies/systems/rules are implemented talk to the people who do the work first, they are the ones who know how things work and can give objective input on whether the new strategy/system or rule ill work in real time
