    Pros

    Solid benefits
    Pretty relaxed dress code
    Good training program (if your trainer follows it correctly)
    Decent pay
    Mostly typical retail job

    Cons

    Many big last minute projects that require a lot of
    schedule changes. It's hard to drop all your plans and expect your employee to drop theirs to accommodate these last minute projects.
    Cheap looking marketing
    Too many floor sets
    History of price scheming
    Very long hours. 44 minimum but you'll work a lot more if there are surprise projects
    You will work alone a lot. It was hard to even use the bathroom most of the time
    DMs seemed stressed due to pressure from higher ups to meet goals, probably because the company was on a downward financial slope. Sad

    Advice to Management

    Go easy on your staff. Stress will trickle down and you can't let it ruin the vibe

    Pros

    The company offers good pay, as well as many of opportunities for growth within. I personally have had many opportunities to travel for the company to assist in other stores, with great compensation for traveling (i.e. good gas reimbursement, paid travel time, decent hotels, etc.)

    Cons

    A lot of work from home. There is often to much to do in not enough time. I do a lot extra for my store and company, such as extra reports from home, as well as conference calls.

    Advice to Management

    Negotiate your pay, be firm with compensation for time, and make sure to have a good staff that works well with you.

    Pros

    It's a really great place and there is a great crew working here. Everyone is really chill, but they also get the job done. For me, it is a really great experience.

    Cons

    I am here for a short time, but this specific store is a little bit of a struggle as the store itself can become a mess. To add on to that, the store is not the most organized

    I really think the management at the Great mall wilsons leather are really awesome people who really get the job done and make sure that we are working hard and doin our part.

    Pros

    Simple Job. Some shops have great people, others are abysmal and the other shops LOVE to gossip about them.

    Cons

    No reward for putting in extra effort. Reminds me of target where they take people in chew them up, give them more responsibilities for doing a good job without raising pay, and spit you out as the fully replaceable employee they view you as. Except it's worse here. You'll be stressed by meeting a sales goal everyday that you must share with other less hard working employees once that don't meet goal, not that you'd be rewarded for going over anyway. Really opened my eyes to just how terrible a job can become due to the terrible corporate of a company. You'll also be forced to work night shifts that are basically rearranging the store in a slightly different way over the course of five hours till 1 in the morning.

    Advice to Management

    Hard working employees don't work hard and deal with all your crap for minimum wage.
