I have been working at Windsor Fashions full-time

    Pros

They would rather promote within than outside. There are countless opportunities for growth in the company.

    Cons

I honestly don't have anything I have always enjoyed working for the company

I have been working at Windsor Fashions part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

40% discount on top of whatever sale they have. (Could get 90%)
Employees are fun to work with
    Clothes and dresses are trendy

    Cons

    Management
Associates get blamed for shrink, not enough sales and little things that they have no control over. If you “Red dot” which means you didn’t meet your sales goal for the month, you are just 2 more red dots away from being written up.

    Advice to Management

Your associates work too hard for what they deserve. Having more responsibility should come with a price and unfortunately, Windsor doesn’t do that

I have been working at Windsor Fashions part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great employee discounts
    Gives you days requested off

    Cons

    Prom season is the worst
    No commission

    Advice to Management

Try to accommodate work schedules to where there is a fair rotation of weekends. Seems like the same people always work the weekends.
Keep up with sales as well, not just hand all the work to sales associates.
Do not take credit for all transactions.

I worked at Windsor Fashions full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

40% discount or 50% during Extravaganza

    Cons

Store managers get blamed for everything while the rest of the team gets away with everything! No structure! The team was terrible. Salary was dumb because even if you worked overtime you wouldn’t get paid. Moved product and changed mannequins every day.

    Advice to Management

Choose your stylist, co managers and assistants wisely. Be more personable and understand that things do happen outside of Windsor! Also, you should see your DM’s more than once after the interview . Talking on the phone can only help but so much.

    "Not worth it"

    Pros

40% discount was nice, occasional 50% during Extrava. It’s fun when a customer appreciates your help. The work can be really fun and making the customer happy is rewarding. The clothes are really cute, it’s fun dressing up for work.

    Cons

Bad management, Management is rude and talks bad about associates to the other managers, barely ever heard anything positive about anyone. Sales associates do a lot with very little praise. Management delegates all the work onto their associates while they stand around and socialize. It’s okay for management to socialize but associates socialize for one minute during downtime when the store is nearly empty and everyone has been helped and they get in trouble. Nobody wants to be there and it shows.

    Advice to Management

Be nice, you’re there to create a good work environment for your employees, not destroy it

I worked at Windsor Fashions part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    40% discount
    Cool associates
There’s not much going on for them other than that. It was mostly a waist of time.

    Cons

Management needs to act like management
    Rude attitude from management
    Conflict/drama
Managers socializing when others are doing work
Too much work for too little pay
    No resources
    Low incentive
Tons of blame for shrink on the employees

    Advice to Management

Your attitude affects the work ethic of other employees. Don’t be rude because it will bring the mood down for everyone.

I have been working at Windsor Fashions part-time

    Pros

It's a happy, uplifting environment. Employees get a generous discount.

    Cons

It can get a bit hectic during peak times such as prom season. Go back racks by the fitting rooms pile up and you can't go home until all of the items are back on their designated racks. There are some very late nights for closing.

I worked at Windsor Fashions part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

40% discount. Literally only good thing about working there. Hopefully you’ll make a friend and it’ll make work bearable but even then they don’t like you chit chatting with coworkers too much.

    Cons

You will not get a raise when they say you will. I have been with this company for way more than a year and haven’t gotten a raise whatsoever.

    Advice to Management

Watch who manages the stores closely, way to much drama. Managers take advantage of employees, just bad work environment at time. Had several people quit at the location I was at just within the time I was there. I should’ve stuck with Forever 21.

I have been working at Windsor Fashions full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Good discount of 40% off.

    Cons

Loss prevention is everything- it is the end of the world if you find a sensor, tag, or hanger.
The work environment is extremely stressful and intense. You're essentially trying to run a store, get typical daily tasks done, make sales and prevent theft with laughably low payroll.
District and Area managers are extremely unapproachable and in most cases downright rude (at least in my district)
Paid time off is almost nonexistent, and understandably so considering over half the year is considered "blackout" periods for requesting off.
Not enough pay for the work that's expected.
This is a company that blatantly doesn't care for their employees.

    Advice to Management

your employees are humans too... we aren't puppets, we make mistakes, and we have lives outside of work. Be more realistic about scheduling , sales, and loss prevention issues.
