I worked at Windsor Fashions part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Experience in sales, Great hours if you show the work ethic, Many opportunities for advancement, Great employees.

    Cons

Pay, Rude customers, Frequent returns from customers mess up sales quota.

    Advice to Management

I think for the amount of work the employees do, which is more than most clothing stores, You should pay your sales associates more.

I have been working at Windsor Fashions part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great pay and discount is good . You get 40 percent off regular prices and sale

    Cons

Terrible management ! I have never worked under so many individuals who acted like high schoolers

    Advice to Management

When I worked for this company I had so many negative experiences with coworkers and upper management. On a day we were visited by owners of the company , I was told that a picture of me was taken by them without my knowledge or consent and sent to my disctrict manager because they felt that I was out of dress code . The dress code is also ridiculous! They require you to wear three accessories everyday and your clothes have to be from Windsor . I also have never worked under a district manager who was extremely immature and quick to get rid of someone as soon as they would make a mistake . The manager I worked under was also fired from stealing thousands from the company . And I assume she got away with it for so long from lack of supervision by our district manager . When I tried to bring her suspicious behavior to the attention of my district manager in an email , she told me to never tell her something was urgent and I had interrupted whatever she was doing that she thought was more important. Then she told me if I had any concerns to address it with my store manager (the one who was stealing and being suspicious ) She and every other store manager I have came into encounters with barely do anything and they boss everyone else around and talk on the store phones for most of there shifts . Store managers and district managers also gossip a lot and put others down in secret.I have never worked for a company where there was so much gossip and pettiness. The only good thing about this job is the pay and discount if you like Windsor clothes . Overall I’d say it wasn’t worth and I didn’t gain anything from working here besides the title of being an assistant manager

I have been working at Windsor Fashions part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great discount. Friendly co-workers. Cute clothes.

    Cons

The salary does not match the work expectations. Raises are rarely given, because of the company continuously pushing back employee evaluations. Not enough payroll hours are given, for management to successfully, upkeep the store. The company does a poor job with offering competitive wages, and that's why the employee retention rate, is terrible. Discussions of raises are always dismissed. When consulting with leadership to address concerns, or to provide insight, about store level responsibilities and salary, it is dismissed. Employees, call out, and show up late, because they are seeking employment elsewhere. It's very disheartening when trying to explain the workload to leadership, and its brushed off.

    Advice to Management

Reevaluate salaries. Forever 21, Sunglass Hut, Apple, Starbucks, and many other stores, start a Stylist/Sales Associate, at $10hr.
Show employee appreciation outside of a 50% discount every quarter. Clothes does not pay rent. Also be more receptive to employee needs.

I worked at Windsor Fashions part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    The pay was decent.

    Cons

Honestly, this is the worst company I have ever worked for. The management at my store was very cliquish and did not respect the time of their employees. My job was a stylist and for every shift, I was cleaning out the fitting room and letting people into the dressing rooms.

    Advice to Management

Clean house and get new management, I didn't appreciate they talk to me like I was some type of dumb girl explaining the simplest things as if I was stupid.
