    Pros

    1. One of the best people's company and ample opportunities to learn new things and technologies and lots of onsite opportunities for the right talent.
    2. Robust internal training programs which help the employees to grow professionally and personally.

    Cons

    1. Long and convoluted company policies which sometimes become a hindrance for smooth business decisions.
    2. Employee Compensations sometimes tilt towards new hires instead of the existing employees.

    Advice to Management

Existing employees could do a better job once they are willing to learn and train on new technologies.

    Pros

Flexible Culture. Lot of learning opportunities offshore if you are in pre-sales or practice

    Cons

Low onsite salaries.. Goals badly defined.. Too much hierarchy. If you are onsite, no business visibility.

I have been working at Wipro full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are opportunities and training available for a wide range of specialties if you are in development, SQL, or Windows systems administration.

    Cons

H1B Visa Contractors who ask you to "do the needful" and "kindly revert in case of issues." Cannot stand working with them. No career track for Mac specialists. Interacting with the Wipro IMG Help Desk is an abysmal experience. Poor communication, odd hours, very slow to respond to real problems. No clear escalation path for major issues. People do not respond at all when they have fixed problems (such as time card and payroll questions).

All data services are hosted in India and the employee web portal is extremely sluggish when accessed from the US.

    Advice to Management

Find a way to offer help desk support within the United States to offer your US based employees a better experience. There needs to be a more direct line of communication for common issues like travel authorization, payroll and timecard issues, expenses, etc.
