I have been working at Wipro full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Solid bonus-earning potential (up to $500/mo split into categories of attendance, adherence, call metrics). All in-bound calls dealing with student loans, but they also have jobs that service various other industries.

    Cons

The training is a long slog of 2-3 months. The material itself isn't deep, you're waiting on federal clearance. Boredom+cold rooms=Zzz. The trainers are a mixed bag. Your classmates also might be immature 20-somethings with little drive to stay employed.

Another con that may steer others away is a ban of all cellphones and paper on the floor. You have to keep your phone in a small locker. You also have to deal with short 30min lunches during training. Really bad for those who are too busy to cook.

    Advice to Management

Raise the pay, raise quality standards, and get experienced teachers to train.

I have been working at Wipro full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Branding due to its fore bearers of the past

    Cons

Some of the name left in the brand is due to past history and work done some of the forerunners and the pillars of the organization. These days is how close you can get to the leader and praise him for everyhting he does good or bad
The fever of nepotism is so widespread that they are not able to see clearly and nor or they willing to accept new out of the box thinking that the new recruits try to bring in.
Sales promise a lot but is never backed the delivery, and they run CoE without the right resources, and lack both functional and technical expertise.

    Advice to Management

I think the there should be a entire shake up of the management and some of the old heads who have spent decades and more in the company both n higher and middle management should be moved to out and bring in a fresh blood of leaders who really show leadership and mentorship to guide the organization

I have been working at Wipro full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great People i work with

    Cons

They sent me on a trip to fill in for a co worker and did not pay me back for expenses. They also use your PTO without notifying you as well. HR is also hard to get in contact with because they are based out of India so for the US you would have to stay up till 11:30PM or 12AM to actually call them.

I have been working at Wipro full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Diversity at work. Excellent immigration team. Digital leader

    Cons

Management at times is unable or unwanting to recognize proper talents and reward or motivate and loses valuable resources to vendors or competition

    Advice to Management

Instead of just all hands meet reach out to pockets of employees like say usa only or india only and see what employees actually have to say rather than pointed multi choice questions on survey. I've been at wipro for 11 years and recently its disappointing how talent is ignored or forgotten
