I worked at Wire Stone full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Many executives come from a small market, home spun background that can help foster a sense of an employee friendly work life balance. As a result many co workers are generally great people that make it easy and fun to come into the office and work, hangout, and ideate.

    Cons

Unrealistic vision for the future or just a plain lack of one perpetuates a culture of knee jerk reactions to client and market fluctuations and an inability to respond effectively and grow. Coupled with an inefficient long hallway for talent and resourcing, an irresponsible amount of high salaried and incompetent directors, and abject failure in managing large clients leads to an environment where talented employees often feel stifled and ineffectual -their hope that things will change whittled down till they become just another of the many each year to leave for greener pastures.

I have been working at Wire Stone full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great employees, fun environment and inviting spaces. We laugh a lot and work with some of the most creative and smart business minded professionals in the industry. We have a great executive team. They are transparent, they are good to their teams, and they believe in the growth of the company as much as the growth of the individual. We have a great culture. Wire Stone is supportive of a healthy work/life balance and are flexible with family committments. There is a focus on wellness of the body and mind, and a real effort to connect as a team to experience true community.

    Cons

Could benefit from having a new hire orientation to make a new person feel that they understand the company, departments, and org chart. Strong HR procedures and on boarding process would help a new employee feel more grounded in their understanding of their job, their management and their expectations.

I worked at Wire Stone full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Creative environment, friendly people, challenging work, good work-life balance. Many outings that involve family. Cool area.

    Cons

Hire at a competitive salary, but then the salary never increases by much. After 3 years of no to very minimal raises, your salary is no longer competitive, and many leave for better pay. Hard to retain employees for longer than 3-5 years, because they don't offer decent raises.
