    Pros

Great company to work for. 4 day work week. Great pay and benefits.

    Advice to Management

Pay closer attention to every employee and make sure loads are evenly distributed.

    Pros

learn a lot about different wines

    Cons

Everything! They treat Merchandisers like they don't matter and work them to death, and then wonder why they go through them like water. Let Sales Reps yell at them with no repercussions for their actions.

    Advice to Management

Go out and do the job and see if you can do quality work, for the number of stores assign, in the time alotted....

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Wirtz Beverage Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Perks: free liquor and events basically every week. Depending on the role, flexibility is also a plus. If you're a 'favorite', you can move around quite liberally in the company. There's a lot of street sense, not much traditional (school) knowledge.

    Cons

Typical old boys' club where leaders are chosen, groomed and moved up quickly. The chosen few are given unique experiences that aren't afforded to those not chosen.

    Advice to Management

Find a way to be more inclusive.

    Pros

Best training in the industry bar none for any sales rep to participate in. You feel like you are part of a bigger cause. Good motivators.

    Cons

The company is only going to get bigger as time goes on.

    Advice to Management

You have always respected your reps. Continue to do so.

    Pros

Great Benefits, 401k, decent salary and some friendly co-workers.

    Cons

Politics. Bonus structure was inconsistent and no answers on formula they use to calculate bonus. High expectations to work non-stop. 10-12 hour days and still never felt like you would get everything done. Unending work load. Corporate structured and they try to encourage advancing with career with education, but didn't allow flexibility with college schedule for related classes.

    Advice to Management

Be fair and promote life balance to prevent burnt out employees and decrease turnover.
