I have been working at Wisenbaker Builders full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Manage a defined area with no set schedule.
Nobody watching over your shoulder- work at your own pace.
Room to grow- Company consistently growing.
Excellent management and support to help you succeed.
Company provided truck/or lucrative vehicle allowance.
    Company provided iPhone & iPad.
Generous monthly incentive due to company's quality performance and high sales.
Go home when your work is done, not when the time clock says you can.

    Cons

The home building industry is always fast-paced and high-stressed. You are always working against a deadline and have to manage several concurring issues that get in the way of that deadline. If you fail to communicate with the customer or the contractor then you will fail at your job. You are always juggling a wide variety of issues that you must keep track of and see to the end. Challenging, but very rewarding when the customer is happy (and when you see your bonus). There are times when you feel like you have to do other people's job's just to get yours done.

    Advice to Management

Push back harder on other departments to hold them accountable. The Territory Manager has a lot of the work load on their plate and is constantly having to deal with internal issues caused by another employee dropping the ball and not resolving their own issue.
Overall, management is great to work for and work with. They are always willing to help and understand exactly what the TM goes through in the field.

I worked at Wisenbaker Builders full-time

    Pros

Okay so this company is definitely family friendly, they have great values when it comes to how employees are treated in the long term

    Cons

So unfortunately the Cons outweigh the pros, The company has an extreme turnover rate that is the equivalent of a ski resort. Your work is constantly devalued in meetings and they use a strict quota system on everyone not just sales. Forget Salary because a good 80% of the positions even on a management level are hourly. Lastly they hire high school graduates over individuals with degrees and pay accordingly so even if you have a college degree with experience in the industry it's very common for an annual salary to be under 36,000.

    Advice to Management

Clean out some of the old guard and increase pay to match industry standards. Keep employees that are valuable, don't let go of people based on racial and language barriers.

I worked at Wisenbaker Builders full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

$10 an hour is not bad, there are plenty job opportunities. Unlimited overtime. You have to wait a year to get benefits and pro

    Cons

Team leaders try to boss you around, you can't pick your own hours, you are forced to stay until work is completed or be terminated. This place should not exist because it takes on a slavery characteristic form. Plus it stay super hot with only box fans to barely keep you cool

    Advice to Management

Stop working everybody like slaves. Nobody can work almost 16 hours a day. Get some AC instead of box fans to keep the place cool

I worked at Wisenbaker Builders full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Hours are deacent and you can leave if needed.

    Cons

Everyone is out for themselves. They don't offer proper training. They are sneaky and there are too many cheifs and not enough indians.

    Advice to Management

You should really get to know your team and not just the few that have been there a while. Stop listening to the grapevine and manage your employees.
