    Pros

Interesting projects, local and global, both new services or organizational change. Always met good team players and committed to implement the change into BAU. Good work-life balance.

    Cons

Sometimes existed kind of a silo effect i.e. resistance to change, specifically within local businesses. Needs committed people to resolve.

Benefits and Time off, that's it.

    Cons

    Everything else about working there.

    Advice to Management

Figure out what you want to be and how you want to run your business. Stop making things up as you go along. Be proactive not reactive.

    Pros

Strong Culture and good overall company who believes in its people as the base of what makes it great.

    Cons

The company is divided up in separate divisions and run its own P&L. Working the with the R&L Division that is on its 2nd year and struggles to hit on expectations. Leadership is trying to make changes but these positions in this division are changing and in transformation.

I worked at Wolters Kluwer full-time

    Pros

The people who actually do the work are talented, hard working, and good people.

    Cons

The general manager is a complete disaster. He reads employee emails, lurks on conference calls, seldom appreciates the efforts of over worked staff, never speaks to anyone other than his reports, and the reps get screwed at years end. The general manager also has uncontrollable rage and there are rumors of harassment suits. This is the most hostile work environment I have ever known. Think long and hard before you work here.

    Advice to Management

    Get a new GM.

    Pros

Great company with great people to work with and excellent benefits. Even though my job only lasted 5 months I had a positive experience and learned a lot. My Manager was excellent as was hus Manager. If an opportunity of working there comes up again, I would apply.

    Cons

Not really much, just a more attainable business plan and goals within all units and locations.

I have been working at Wolters Kluwer full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great people, by and large. Smart, kind, non-jerk people all around. There are a few obligatory curmudgeons, sure, but those are the exceptions and are rare.

    Solid work/life balance and compensation.

Leadership are smart people, I feel like they're doing an intelligent and responsible job.

    Cons

There are a few departments/teams where bad practices and attitudes are allowed to exist to the detriment of related teams' success. If your work depends on one of those groups, you're out of luck. Even when the problem is well-known, it seems to take a long time (years+) to spot/fix dysfunction.

Some of the CRM stuff is really clunky. Divisional teams work to improve their particular touchpoints to SalesForce and other systems - but there's no overarching commitment to streamlining. E.g., there are 7 billing systems just in the group where I work. None are tied to SF.

    Advice to Management

By and large, just keep it up. One thing I've seen is that within my group, the people who've been promoted have been the right people to promote. Not just on results, but people who've been chosen have had the right mix of empathy, leadership, and accountability. The whole structure is made of respectable people.

I worked at Wolters Kluwer full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

An established multinational company with offices around the globe. Nice colleagues

    Cons

Culture differences and no empowerment from upper management. Poor leadership with no business acumen running the SEA business. Frequent reorganisation and layoff to manage cost impacted customers service and product delivery. Changes made without taking consideration on the effect on the customer.

    Advice to Management

Change to more competent leader managing the business
