      Pros

Smart, thoughtful leadership and passionate, driven colleagues Good work/life balance; work-from home flexibility At least within my team, most new hires to management roles are internal...good growth opportunities Base pay lower than in similar roles in other organizations and in-house team not bonus eligible, but excellent 401k matching, onsite gym, and above average health plan make up for it Exciting working with thought leaders on best-in-class products

      Cons

Some internal systems are clunky and create busywork. Other technology organizations do a better job of encouraging community-building among distributed teams.

      Pros

Great supervisor and great introduction to project management. Excellent PTO. Easy to work from home when needed.

      Cons

Heavy workload, and upper management is disconnected from the day to day work which led to unrealistic expectations at times. Pay was not great.

      Pros

Can work from home (for most IT positions).

      Cons

Corrupted management with poor to no leadership ability, stagnant wages, no incentives below VP level, widespread incompetence, a very woke company.

Overbearing push of disruptive, duplicative work from execs in HQ and NY

      Pros

more flexibility for work from home than expected some nice people

      Cons

Taskforces from hell, it's a super fragmented, decentralized org trying to be a nimble high performing engine killing people including leaders in the middle. The desperation for change combined with an utter disregard and support for people who are either trying to lead the change or absorb it, is profound. HR and alphen need to step up and fix the mess being created.

A global company that lacks good governance

Jun 10, 2019 - Mid Level Management in New York, NY

      Business Outlook

      Pros

-If you are in Sales, you will get more resources and funding - There may be opportunities to work from home, depending on your manager

      Cons

      - Turnover is huge. The best and brightest leave. - Salary is not competitive and benefits are below par. Directors do not receive stock options or anything further than a small bonus (if the company does well.) - Poor executive management that lacks vision to execute good governance. - Inefficient employees are held on to because they don't challenge management on how and what needs to change - It's a Boys club when it comes to promotions and job security - US management is quite different from the culture in EU - Tone at the top is very poor and does not want to hear what changes can improve the organization.

Not sure how they’re in business..

      Business Outlook

      Pros

People are nice, catering once a month, PTO, OT available and work from home a lot.

      Cons

Most of all the services are outsourced and not enough employees to help the customers with the horrible and outdated software they over charge them to use. Complaints from clients of non responsiveness to their issues. Head of the team is burned out and unorganized, procrastinator and spends much time talking about nothing, gets nothing done. Main cause for the position being months behind.

      Good Company

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Not a high stress role. Flexible work from home. Get your job done and you will not be micromanaged.

      Cons

Advancement. If you want an Outside role you need to move to that territory. The BDR role is a suckers role.
