    Pros

Good base pay. Great people you get to work with, good benefits and the hours are great. Company has some great perks and consistent community involvement.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to your employees. If you are going to invest time and money into hiring then train them properly.

I worked at Wolverine Bank part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Making great friends with immediate coworkers.

    Cons

This company is beyond awful to work for. One of the biggest problems tellers face lies within the HR department. Starting with the fact that the HR position is currently being filled by someone with an accounting degree and no actual degree in HR. So any problem you have is handled incorrectly, and that is if it is addressed at all. Many problems are ignored, regardless of how big they are. Which may be the reason why their employee turnover is so awful. Do not work here.

    Advice to Management

Get someone into HR that actually knows what they are doing and can handle people problems.

I worked at Wolverine Bank full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexibility of completing work, staff is friendly and desire to help one another. Well capitalized bank with potential for growth. embraces technology

    Cons

Lack of delegated authority and control concentrated in a few individuals. Clarity is lacking in the vision. Core competencies are limited to a limited product and skill set.

    Advice to Management

Pick a strategy and commit to it. Introduce new management levels with true authority to implement change.

I worked at Wolverine Bank full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Coworkers are great
    Schedules are usually flexible

    Cons

Compensation is very low compared to other banks in the area
Many promises of movement to employees at hire, however movement is rarely realized
There is always a turnover in staffing which creates stress and causes other employees to be overworked

    Advice to Management

Leadership is lacking and there are too few decision-makers. Forward thinking people are cast off and the same stale ideas continue to circulate.
