I have been working at Wonderful Sales full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Good products.
    No weekends.
Field based job so phone interviews are easy to schedule from your car.

    Cons

For starters, you can't believe any positive reviews of this company, as an email was sent out from upper management to post positive reviews on this site. That should tell you about their ethics. This point is posted several times on this site, and someone will respond that it's not their policy to solicit good reviews, but if that were the case, why didn't a follow up email come from upper management noting a mistake of their own policy? Upper management is flawed and they constantly make bad decisions but never own up to them. It's the "Ivory Tower" or "Church on a Hill" syndrome. They are always right. Feedback is not encouraged, unless you tell them everything is great. Constructive criticism stops at your supervisor because it’s a “cult like” environment. They have a survey to ask your opinions, but nothing comes of it. It's a ploy to act as if they care. They claim to be big on safety, but management made a decision to have us drive cars without GPS, so we're now balancing an iPad on our lap for driving directions. Real safe??? It's about money not safety. An incentive was rolled out for Super Bowl in January and as of July 4th nothing has been paid. All the hard work was ignored. The worst part is that the topic is never addressed. When anyone asks about it, no answers are given. Again, this has to be direction from upper management. They rolled out a cost cutting initiative at last year's national meeting and upper management proceeded to have a late night party at the hotel in which cases of beer and food were ordered all night from room service. How hypocritical!!! The pay scale has a range of over 15K for the Merchandiser position for doing the same exact job. It's been brought up many times bet never addressed. They promote based on popularity rather that skills and experience. If you happen to be female and on a special diet like the Paleo program you'll be promoted quickly. They are more concerned about processes than results. Everything needs to be done a certain way, like a cult, even though it's not practical. All of these things are mention several times on the reviews on this site, I just wanted to pull most of them (there are more) together to help others.

    Advice to Management

    Stop the micro managing.
Address supervisors in the same job for 7 plus years so the promotional opportunities discussed when hired are possible.
    Adopt a fair pay scale.
Change the upper management because it all starts there.
Communication and leadership is poor at best.
Act on the high turnover as opposed to falsely labeling everyone a disgruntled employee.

    Cons

A lot of driving, territories can be in questionable areas. title says 'Sales' it's more of a merchandiser role

I have been working at Wonderful Sales full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great pay
    Great benefits
Spectacular training (sales training blew me away)
Sales Conf every year in swanky location
    Company car
    Gas card
    Great team

    Cons

This job can be a little repetitive. You just have to switch things up so you don’t get bored. Set goals with your supervisor so that doesn’t happen.

I worked at Wonderful Sales full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good hours, good pay, good benefits. Good job to have if you have an active family, no nights, weekends, holidays.

    Cons

Few opportunities to advance if that is your goal. Management promotes who they like vs. who is actually qualified. Have started to only hire millennials, cheap and young.

    Advice to Management

I understand the need to keep costs down, but not the expense of having to keep hiring over and over again because of only hiring young people.
