    Pros

Company car, Benefits, Products, Giving Back Program

    Cons

Low morale due to heavy handiness of upper management and it rolls down to retail reps. Reps must do as told--do not think outside the box. Very oppressive, especially in certain parts of the country.

    Advice to Management

Get it together between sales and merchandising divisions. Back your merchandisers. This could be a great program. Monitor and train managers better so they are proactive, not reactive. Believe in your employees.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Wonderful Sales full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Company car and gas card.

    Cons

The company micro manages you every minute of your day.. How long it takes you to drive from location to location. There is no balance you are required to do an 8 hour day and then
All your weekly paperwork has to be done on your own time. It could take 2 hours but if you cut your day 15 minutes it's a problem. They have a huge turn over rate. The supervisors are robots with no people skills and if you make a complaint or suggestion you are done. They say they have an open door policy but nothing is kept in confidence and no one keeps their word. STAY AWAY this company could make their numbers if they would hire new managers especially in the South East teams.

    Advice to Management

Take some communication classes and treat your reps and supervisors with respect and not stab them in the back.

    Pros

Maybe some of the decor around the office. But most of the art is pretty horrible. Whoever picked out and endorsed those pieces have awful taste.

    Cons

This company was formerly known as Roll Inc. or Roll Global. Now it's known as Wonderful Brands. Maybe they're trying to wipe away old reviews and sweep things under the rug. Don't let the name fool you. It's the anti-thesis of Wonderful. Everything bad about the company stems from one thing…well, two things to be exact – the co-owners of the company. They breed and encourage a system of fear throughout the company. They have been known to fire people on the spot for disagreeing with them or if they just don’t like their vibe/tone. One former coworker was even demanded to make an apology for something he was perceived to have done in a meeting. This type of old school management is antiquated and doesn’t really exist anymore in most parts of corporate America. Get with it owners. But they won’t change because old dogs can’t learn new tricks.

As for their in-house ad agency (if you can call them an agency), they’re at the owner’s beck and call. The creatives aren’t allowed to do their work, which is to create cool concepts because the owner feels like her ideas are the greatest. The head of the agency has also lost sense of reality in regards to running that department. I don’t think that person had the chops to run it from the beginning with very little experience at that post. The creative services/production department heads are also not competent. Constant high turnover rate plagues that group. The production group and most retouchers work long hours but not fully appreciated. Creative services also thrives on chronyism and lots of brown-nosing. It’s not how well and hard you work but it’s how well you kiss up to the studio manager.

So if you like a dead end job, this company is perfect for you. Expect to lose years of your life and parts of your sanity if you take a role there.

    Advice to Management

NONE. They think they know it all.

    Pros

Decent Pay full benefits, company car and ipad

    Cons

    LA politics at its best
Management treats you like an uneducated second class citizen Never wanting any opinions or advice on anything

Expected to sell like a door to door salesmen instead of a B2B fashion

Are allowed and expected to sell at corporate level with out without pay, title recognition and reward for performing those tasks

management is allowed to slack off while everyone under are made to feel as if they are under performing even if numbers are good

Your leaders will throw you under the bus as soon as the heats on and are never there to back you up when there's issues with accounts.

They will plan your every move and expect you to complete every project within the working week no admin time.

    Advice to Management

Stop thinking you know it all

    Pros

Reasonable pay, benefits. That's about it.

    Cons

Awful experience. I have never been so micromanaged in my life. Management trusts nothing that is done by subordinates. They follow behind when you are working sometimes to check your work. Tell you that you are always wrong. No accountability for actions by management. Everyone is just trying to cover their butt and they openly admit that. They lose people with good talent because of their lack of respect-- like me.

    Advice to Management

Perhaps firing your dense VPs would help solve the issue. It is shocking that the owners actually think these guys are worth something. These men are old and their techniques and ideas are extremely outdated.

If you have bad VPs you will have bad area managers, bad district managers, bad regional managers, bad merchandisers. You get the picture.

Open your eyes people and start making the right decisions for your company, you could be doing so much better than you are.

    Pros

Allows you to work independently, fun concept of brands, good business trip locations

    Cons

Management is NOT united, and very unorganized at times. Not open to new ideas and suggestions even thought some say they are, they don't mean it. If you have been there long enough, you know not to speak up and try to fly under the radar for fear of loosing your job.

    Advice to Management

Be proactive as opposed to reactive, support your management and the decisions they make, and don't back stab and make things up to cover your own faults.

    Pros

Good resume experience in order to find a better company....build your resume and move on before the pay and great benefits suck you in.

    Cons

Senior Staff is stuck in the 50s...mixed messages from HR, office employees not valued, women preyed upon not promoted - . and if you did get preyed up on, you disappear. No mentoring, no career paths, no support of middle management for employees because they are too afraid of senior staff and not being a "team player". The place is just weird and run by good ol boys. Favoritism is rampant.

    Advice to Management

Lose the condescending attitudes and recognize that all departments are valuable to the success of the company.
