    Pros

Great camaraderie and mentoring. High standards from the partners and learned a lot. Extremely favorable work life balance allowing attorneys and management to work at home several times a month.

    Cons

Could use mentoring on how to build book of book of business.

Good law firm to have on your resume

    Feb 25, 2021 - Associate

    Pros

You get really good quality work in a very busy office with large caseloads. They ask for a 3 year commitment, which most, but not all, associates manage to keep to.

    Cons

You can do the same work at a much larger law firm and get paid a much larger salary. Stay your 3 years, and unless you are clearly getting signals from management that you are headed to partnership, go to the bigger firms.

    Cons

Read all the poor reviews on here...they are the ONLY truthful reviews on here that were not submitted my management

    Run away! Don’t walk.

    Pros

You’ll get a lot of experience with several different, novel areas of law. If you NEED a job, you’ll get a paycheck here.

    Cons

Working with the named partners. One is worse that a drill Sargent, who will blame you for her mistakes. The other is patently passive aggressive m, who will complain to the other one about you, but never directly confront you Unless it’s at a staff meeting. There is a reason they try to lock you in for 3 years of low pay upfront.

    Grateful for the opportunity

    Pros

insistence on demanding standards shaped work and growth; the partners stay motivated and focused and embrace the importance of innovation; diversity provides an enriched talent pool; meaningful and positive work relationships; varied work and responsibility at an early level; and a decent work/life balance.

    Cons

would have appreciated more feedback about work product and guidance on litigation strategy; would have also liked more team-building activities; and managing unclear expectations at times.

    Stay FAR AWAY

    Pros

Other attorneys were very helpful and .... that’s it

    Cons

The managing partner is a complete and utter nightmare. No guidance, no support and complete miscommunication. Never had a paralegal be a third party information giver and having the attorney refuse to talk to me.

Excellent Employment Opportunity - Excellent Work Product for Clients

May 27, 2015 - Attorney in Philadelphia, PA

    Pros

I was employed at Wong Fleming as an Associate Attorney and single handedly mark this experience as the most influential in my development as a lawyer. Linda Wong and Dan Fleming provide a great working environment with all the support necessary to succeed as a lawyer. It is a fast paced environment and you will be presented with a myriad of opportunities and access to top clients. In kind, the work product produced for the clients is top notch and the firm follows "best practices" to ensure the client gets the best work product possible. Younger attorneys can learn from the Partners and take on as much responsibility that they can handle while maintaining the quality of work that is expected from the firm.

    Cons

The cons are related to the practice as a defense attorney and not specific to Wong Fleming. While Billable hours are what many attorneys consider a con, Wong Fleming assists in the development of your billable hours and provides younger attorneys with the training necessary to make this aspect of the law tolerable. The firm has a great work-life balance and respects your off time - a luxury not found at many firms. It is your own fault if you are unable to produce in this environment.

    ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EMPLOYER

Oct 4, 2014 - Associate Attorney in Princeton, NJ

    Pros

Associates get exposure to a fair variety of work servicing Fortune 500 clients, primarily in asset recovery, creditors' rights and commercial collections. Except for the name partners, people are pretty congenial. Pleasant atmosphere whenever the name partners are out of the office. Tech support is pretty fair.

    Cons

Only way to survive at this firm is to totally avoid working with the name partners, who routinely mistreat and abuse literally everyone at the office. Combine the emotional abuse with below-market salaries and a non-existent partner track, and the result is extremely high turnover for associates, paralegals, and everyone else. Zero opportunities for associates to develop their own clients. Abysmal bonuses (and sometimes none at all). Name partners are extremely tight-fisted and authorize only the cheapest CLEs available, and otherwise are willing to invest no time or money in the professional development of associates.
