    Pros

Flexible work hours (depending on your department), 401K match, good location , cafeteria style benefits allow you to choose what you want/need.

    Cons

Company culture is gone. Used to be a big family. Now layoffs happening with little or no warning. Advancement opportunities are almost non-existent in current market

    Advice to Management

Need better morale overall. How long can you keep good talent with no raises. Culture is gone...time for new beginnings!

    Pros

Overall leadership has integrity and shows commitment to the company's performance and health. There are many talented people employed at Wood Group. The focus on safety and ethics is genuine. There is a demonstrated support for innovation.

    Cons

The communication is pretty strained across regions, locations, functions, etc. It's very difficult to understand priorities and to keep up with what's happening in various parts of the business, or even to know who to reach out to for help or ideas.

    Advice to Management

Focus on leadership and communication. With clear vision and priorities, the team at Wood Group can accomplish anything!

I worked at Wood Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great support from manager and VP.
Senior management sat out on the floor with their teams.

    Cons

IT had was always an issue for me. Frequently, my issues had to be elevated to my manager and above to force IT to resolve the issue.
For the last year I was there, too much focus was placed on rebranding and too little effort spent on finding work.

    Advice to Management

Rebrand should be a very low priority and should never distract from finding and securing additional work.

    Pros

Flexible Schedule and very laid back

    Cons

No paid sick time, no bonus, no annual raises for very long time. You need to be billable or else you're out of the door

    Pros

We're getting bigger, is this a pro?

It's no longer about people here, it's about the dollars.

    Advice to Management

I worked at Wood Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

My company was bought by this company. They have decent benefits, though expensive. Matching 401k up to 4% then up to 6% they match half. It is large, so potential to move around is good, though they do not offer good relocation packages.

    Cons

Constant and major turnover in upper management. Zero care for people at this point. Low margins and bottom line make this a pretty bad place to work. If you want to work for a big company where you can know you are just a number and nobody actually cares about you, but you may keep your job depending on the market, this is the place for you.

    Advice to Management

Offer more perks. Quit taking away the culture. Offer relocation packages for experienced people who want to move around.
