I have been working at Woodcraft Industries full-time

    Pros

Yeah Yeah I get my money that's it. Otherwise nothing good happens there. Quantics please help.

    Cons

Management is very unfair, they hate us employees and we are sick and tired of all of the changes that happen, fix your stuff and make us fair.

    Advice to Management

I it wasn't for us you wouldn't have a job, fix your stuff this isn't fair, treat us like human beings other than the diet you walk on. Management that gives you an evaluation and don't even know they do and they have been working there for over 20 years.

I worked at Woodcraft Industries full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Woodcraft has strong supportive supervisors and close peer relationships. Initiative and hard work are appreciated and rewarded. They provided strong benefits for medical care and even tuition assistance with no requirement on what was being studied.

    Cons

Overtime all summer, long hours standing on concrete, occasionally expected to work in unsafe conditions, standards were set impossibly high and raises were dependent on meeting them.

    Advice to Management

Set stretch, but achievable goals, continue to support your employees health and education, continue working on building safe working conditions, limit mandatory overtime so overtired workers don't get in accidents.

I worked at Woodcraft Industries full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Decent benefits and pay. Fairly clean place to work. They make cabinets so it is not a high pressure production atmosphere like in automotive.

    Cons

There are many Amish who work there and they are frequently hostile to anyone not Amish. Almost no room for advancement. Stagnant wages. They have not invested into upgrading their equipment so much of that is old and in constant need of repair.

    Advice to Management

Give employees better benefits and pay. Diversify the work force. Hire from within for supervisor and management positions. Buy new equipment.
