I worked at Woodforest National Bank full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Lots of overtime available

    Cons

Mismanagement, poor work conditions, poor salary , work all but 3 holidays per year. Outdated, poor functioning programs and equipment.

    Advice to Management

Management who never step into small retail branches need to rethink that and see what’s really going on inside the Walmart stores and neighborhood markets.

I have been working at Woodforest National Bank full-time for more than a year

    Pros

-Thorough and comprehensive training -Monthly incentive bonus -Not overloaded with financial products to sell

    Cons

-Upper management very hands-off when issues arise -Long hours -Benefits could be better

    Advice to Management

Wages could be higher for the amount of responsibilities bankers have, and regional management needs to be more hands on with their branch managers and know what's going on in their branches, even if branches are doing well in sales

I have been working at Woodforest National Bank full-time

    Pros

Good entry level position in the financial industry.

    Cons

Long hours, I pay 400 per pay period for health insurance for myself husband and two kids (one 15, one graduating), high turnover, no one to cover in emergencies because most of the region is short staffed, they only worry about acquiring new accounts.

I have been working at Woodforest National Bank full-time for less than a year

    Pros

You learn fast because you left to do the job by yourself.

    Cons

Everything you heard bad about this company is true. Just read all the reviews it's all true. Where to start? Oh my gosh.

    Advice to Management

Stop giving managers and marketing managers HR duties. They abuse these powers. Stop hiring incompetent managers who don't want to do their jobs, break federal laws, discriminate and traumatize their employees.

I have been working at Woodforest National Bank full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Its overall not bad and it's definitely a step up from food pay wise and easier than a warehouse. Always plenty of hours to be had.

    Cons

The hours are tough and the environment being in a Walmart is tough. Hard to have a life outside work.
