    Pros

    I've been working here for 6 years and enjoy it. It's a nice atmosphere here you and get ongoing training continuously

    Cons

    They have changed the sales goals and with the current way they are doing it, it is hard to reach the monthly goals

    I have been working at Woodforest National Bank full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Great 401k and benefits are good but have to wait 6 months to get in 401k program

    Cons

    No backing for staff and upper state leads don't have your back with customers complaints at all. Even when you are following their policies.

    Advice to Management

    Stand behind your employees show support to slow turnover

    Pros

    You learn everything you need to know about banking both teller and banker. Good "starter bank" easy to move up.

    Cons

    No room for personal life, stay away if you have kids, cater to second chance customers exposing the bank to much fraud and losses.long work hours. Pay does not match work done

    Advice to Management

    Stop opening fraudulent accounts and start focusing on the good quality accounts.

    I worked at Woodforest National Bank full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Good stepping stone to get better bank job elsewhere, that's about it.

    Cons

    Long hours, 7 day weeks, Pay, Management doesn't care about anyone but themselves. No recognition.

    Advice to Management

    Take time to get to know your team. Listen to needs and wants. Stop making everything always about you.
