I worked at WoodmenLife full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Very caring company that gives back to the community. It really feels like everyone is an equal member of the team from the very top to the sales force. Great benefits and bonuses

    Cons

Sales recruiters tend to overstate how easy it will be to generate leads when starting out with a small book of business. They tend to tell you just to do this and it will work without offering much details.

    Advice to Management

    Nothing. Management is great

Great people! The environment at Woodmen is very friendly and inviting. Flexible work environment with great benefits and perks. Woodmen's core values are awesome, they give back to the community in so many ways.

    Cons

I have been working at WoodmenLife full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Great benefits. Great wellness!

    Cons

Behind the times for technology and products. No chance for advancement. The current leaders aren't going anywhere so a lot of talent must leave if they want a chance to move up somewhere. People won't stay when they are topped out.

    Advice to Management

You have an issue with bullying. If you don't address it its going to bite you.

I worked at WoodmenLife full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Nice people. Good benefits. Great wellness program. Great culture if you started 20 years ago and have the pension plan.

    Cons

Outdated technology. Behind the times and resistant to change. Employees are threatened by new talent. Old school. Fraternal organization. Fraternals are becoming a thing of the past so they are losing market share fast.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your new people and technology. Need to spend the money to build new products that will apply to the younger segment.
