I have been working at Workday as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

The company culture out-beats many. Everyone is willing to help. They take the Core Value of Fun very seriously. Work-Life balance is amazing. The company cares about you. It is just great!

    Cons

A lot to learn and take in the very beginning

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing!

I worked at Workday as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

I truly enjoyed the environment, the people, and the project I worked on while I was there. I worked in the Pleasanton office which had easy access to San Francisco and Oakland; it had all the Bay Area charm while not being too crowded or insane.

    Cons

There were no cons to my experience

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing with the intern program and Generation Workday

I worked at Workday as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

I felt like the team had a great culture, people cared about each other and tried to help each other along

    Cons

Application Developers have to work in a fairly inflexible proprietary language that can make career advancement more difficult.

I have been working at Workday as an intern

    Pros

Awesome work environment, everyone is welcoming and willing to help. If you have a question, ask it, and someone always comes over with a smile to help you out.

    Cons

Love the culture of the company, but wish there was a little more structure. People work hard, but there is a lot of leisure and is sometimes hard to work around everyones moving outside work schedule.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. You guys create an awesome work environment. For new hires, try of a more hands on learning approach rather than sticking them in front of a computer and telling them to learn by reading.

I worked at Workday as an intern

    Pros

Excellent culture, smart people, had much opportunity to work with interesting projects

    Cons

Maybe a bit too chill to some. Experience depends a lot on the project/team you end up with, though I guess that's true for most companies. City is a bit bland

    Advice to Management

Not really in a position to give advice to management. They had good respect for workers and organization

    Pros

    - Nice people
    - Ping Pong, Foos Ball, Snacks

    Cons

If you don't RSVP to some events, they won't let you in. It's not their fault, but it's kinda strict.
