I worked at Workday as an intern

    Pros

Great culture. Always felt included and that I was making a real impact to my team. Good people.

    Cons

Very hard to communicate across teams and especially as an intern to get through red tape.

I worked at Workday as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Nice people
    - Ping Pong, Foos Ball, Snacks
    -

    Cons

If you don't RSVP to some events, they won't let you in. It's not their fault, but it's kinda strict.

I worked at Workday as an intern

    Pros

Great culture/work environment, fun intern events, corporate housing, free breakfast and snacks, competitive pay, swag

    Cons

Some interns' work might involve using their proprietary language, which isn't really applicable anywhere else except for Workday

I worked at Workday as an intern

    Pros

-The company and the people were genuine. I never felt uncomfortable seeking help or asking people in higher management to meet for a 1:1.
-They make sure everyone feels important and included. The Intern Program was well organized and really made me feel like I was part of something bigger. Also offered great competitive pay and lots of perks (ex. intern housing, transportation).
-Work life balance is taken seriously. The work environment was very relaxed yet everyone made sure to do their best work. It was refreshing to see full time employees at ease. Definitely made me realize what type of work environment I want when I look for a full time job.

    Cons

Wish there was a way to encourage interaction/socialization between different organizations within the company. During the intern summit/orientation, I got to meet interns from all different departments. But after that first week, I only saw people on my floor/in my building.

    Advice to Management

I really appreciated Aneel, the CEO, taking the time to talk with all the interns and answer our questions. It spoke volumes about the company and how they really value their employees/structure their company (no hierarchy).

I worked at Workday as an intern

    Pros

Everyone was open and welcoming and very helpful! They definitely care about their employees!
-Process to pair you up with projects you want
    -Many intern events
    -Housing provided

    Cons

I can't think of any... Pleasanton can be a little too slow but they do a good job of making sure to pair people with roommates who have cars.

I worked at Workday as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Amazing work culture environment
    - Housing and competitive pay provided
    - Exciting internship events
    - Workday encourages life/work balance
    - Unlimited supply of snacks and caffeine
    - Friendly & welcoming atmosphere

    Cons

    - Depending on what department you work for it can be hard to stand out since there is so many other interns
    - Recruiters don't encourage you to pursue other opportunities for other departments other than theirs
    - Workday HQ is located in Pleasanton which can get boring at times, but San Francisco is only around 40 minutes away on the Bart

    Advice to Management

I understand you're busy, but try to check in with each intern at least once a week to see how they're doing.
