I worked at Workday as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Food everywhere all the time; you will never go a minute without your cravings satisfied. People are nice and willing to talk to you. This is THE place if you have a family and kids, need a stable living, and not that interested in accomplishing big things.

    Cons

They move at a snail's pace compared to the rest of the industry.

XpressO is their proprietary language. Since it is proprietary, it is useless in any other job. It is also extremely slow. Yes, like they advertise, it is all in cloud which is the future, but combined with cloud latency, it makes for frustrating "coding".

    Advice to Management

Be more honest to your employees.

I truly enjoyed the environment, the people, and the project I worked on while I was there. I worked in the Pleasanton office which had easy access to San Francisco and Oakland; it had all the Bay Area charm while not being too crowded or insane.

    Cons

There were no cons to my experience
