I worked at WorkflowOne full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's was great to work there well in the department I work for.

    Cons

They layoff me one time with no justification and the I got to return back I fought back for my rights then they did everything to start getting rid off mostly all temps including my self on that list.. If it wasn't for the felling discrimination against the way they took control afterwards probably my friends and my self would of been still working there even if it was thru temp agency.

    Advice to Management

I feel that when I get used to the job Iam a god worker

I worked at WorkflowOne full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Able to learn many operating systems, Netsource, EFI Hagen and Monarch. Worked with many great sales people i.e. Tamara Gilbert, Sheryl Mattingly, Marsha Thoren and a great production manager, Jeff Beutler.

    Cons

Office culture was excellent but sometimes the leadership left something to be desired as they expected more and more from employees while never keeping promises of merit raises.

    Advice to Management

Please reward employees with merit raises when they are deserved. Also when making everyone rate their performance in Halogen make it worth their while. Just do not make it a futile exercise. If people are doing great jobs, please reward them.

I worked at WorkflowOne full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Smart and effective management teams at the individual plants with decent production capabilities and long term employees. Willingness to invest IF you can bring the work in first. Beginning to move into more current technologies. Skilled people have a chance to shine.

    Cons

Only a couple small raises in over ten years mixed in with a 10% cut in pay. Upper management is revolving door with direction constantly changing. Benefits cut to almost nothing with no relief in site. Buyout can't be any worse than it was.

    Advice to Management

Take care of the people taking care of you. Figure out a direction to go and run with it.

I worked at WorkflowOne full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

contrary to popluar belief, they do pay well.

    Cons

the expecations they have for the employees are out of this world. The workload is unbearable at times.

    Advice to Management

just because an interviewee answers incorrectly, or not to the way they think the question should be answered, they will cut the interview short. Management doesn't always know what a person is thinking even though management think they do.

    Pros

There are plenty of opportunities to expand your skill set. They are very flexible and willing to work with a variety of different situations.

    Cons

Due to the recent financial situation of the company, raises have been few and far between. Rather then getting rewarded, or even thanked, for any extra effort in these trying times, generally you will just get more work.

    Advice to Management

While that lack of raises and promotions in these financially stressful times is somewhat understandable, there comes a point when you need to give you employees something and quit taking away. There are a lot of employees that have stuck with this company throughout these tough times, but if the company does not do something about retaining these employees they will give up on the company too.

    Pros

Overall this is a good company to work for.

    Cons

Needs to evaulate employees based on their job performance and when an employee surpasses what is expected then they need to compensate.

Needs to give employees their job structure and salary grades with salary ranges.

    Needs more advancement opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Communicate more with employees. Their is information that is never found out unless you go searching for it.

    Pros

Employees are treated to a family type atmosphere. There are several knowledgeable people within the company willing to help. If things smooth out the company has the potential to see huge gains.

    Cons

Communication between even top management and direct managers is slow or completely lacking, leading to lack of communication to front line employees. Company path is on unstable ground as shown by it being changed 4 times in the last 3 years.

    Advice to Management

Please look at this and other reviews that offered advice as most have suggested working on communication.

    Pros

WorkflowOne is a small enough company allowing any one person to make a difference. The company is fast paced and ever changing allowing a young professional many opportunities for growth and first hand experience.

    Cons

It is very hard to hit a ceiling in this company. There is strong retention in management and therefore hard to break through. This company is great for young professionals, but has a limited shelf life for career growth potential.

    Advice to Management

Communicate more with employees, much of the time information is spread through the grape vine much sooner than a formal communication.
