I have been working at World Wrestling Entertainment as a contractor

    Pros

Brilliant teams with exceptional values. Employees are cared about and supported by their managers and HR in their ideas and career development. This has been my experience during my 8+ months at WWE with a front row view. It is an exceptional time to be part of this company. I am proud to have been part of these dynamic teams and top talent, who are good people and make coming to work a joy. If I could stay, I would do so enthusiastically.

    Cons

Perhaps provide more opportunities for employees to engage in the philanthropic efforts WWE supports.

I have been working at World Wrestling Entertainment full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great colleagues, all of the respective departments in the company are very closely-knit. Fun brand to work for if you're a fan of the entertainment industry. Great benefits and work-life balance, you'll most likely spend time with your team members outside of 'work'. Gym, Cafeteria, the works.

    Cons

The commute can be a little bit long and pricey for people living in the five boroughs but there are commuter benefits to alleviate it.

    Advice to Management

    Nothing comes to mind

    Pros

WWE is a great place to work if you’re looking to advance your career, be challenged on a daily basis and work in a fun, fast-paced environment. Employees are rewarded and recognized for their hard work. There's also a great sense of accomplishment among employees. It's a great feeling knowing you're making a real impact to the business.

    Cons

Work/life balance is definitely something that’s difficult to manage.

I have been working at World Wrestling Entertainment as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you are a fan like I am, it's a pretty awesome experience interning at WWE. The people are extremely nice and you wear a number of different hats depending on your department.

    Cons

None besides the fact that it wasn't paid. I would've preferred to work full-time and have it be paid as opposed to 20 hours and no pay.

    Advice to Management

Didn't deal with upper management too much, but I would advise to make yourselves more available to subordinates. I've heard the work-life balance is tough, but I didn't experience that as a part-time Intern.

I worked at World Wrestling Entertainment full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Most of the people there are highly motivated, talented and care about doing a great job. The office has everything from cafeteria to gym. Live events and people were great. Some tremendous management at times. Overall great experience

    Cons

There were a few who just "didn't get it" and some managers and dept. heads are clueless how to deal with people. There were more than a couple department heads who talked down to employees and walked around with their nose in the air. The ones you suspect would be arrogant were the most professional. Others had to "show" or tell you how important they were. Long hours and there really is no life outside WWE

    Advice to Management

Find people who know what they're doing and stick with them!

    Pros

Fast-paced, young, great product. Everyone I have met is fun, honest, and a hard-worker. It seems like everyone loves what they do which makes it so easy to want to work there.

    Cons

It is a very hectic work environment...you have to be willing to put in the hours to get the benefit.
