I worked at Worldmark full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The best part of working for this company was the scenery throughout the year and the location of the resort.

    Cons

The things that I found most disappointing for the short time that I was there was the lack of daily challenges, lack of good management, and lack of on job training by my immediate supervisor. On job training in regards to my duties was left to employees that weren’t considered as mentors or trainers.

    Advice to Management

Take control of the continuous problems with poor performing employees

    Pros

Good product. At a site level the culture can be excellent if you have the right manager. Unfortunately every site is different as culture goes.

    Cons

Pay plan for managers is set up for failure managers are leaving Windham left and right because it's very hard to make a living most reps exceed managers pay on a monthly basis
At certain sites it's like good old boys club and if you're not part of it you're done

    Advice to Management

    Change the pay plan.

I have been working at Worldmark full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

In the last 8 months I have had the opportunity to essentially attend several sales boot camps as there have been successive changes in leadership.

    Cons

Poor customer service, old fashioned bribery to get customers into presentations for company,

    Advice to Management

Certainly there must be some better, more legitimate way to bring in new owners.

    Pros

Fun, always different things to do and learn. Great people to work with in the sales dept.

    Cons

The company has no respect for the Admin. We work extremely hard for VERY little pay, no bonuses, no perks, nothing, while other depts. we work with get all kinds of bonuses, great pay, and all kinds of perks. They love to micromanage and make you feel like a child you can't do or think for themselves.

    Advice to Management

Treat your people with respect. Trust them that they can think for themselves and stop rating them and putting them in completion with each other. Give them the pay they deserve!!!
