I have been working at Worldwide Business Research full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

After more than 10 years in the conference industry, I have found that WBR has by far the best employee culture. It's a collaborative, friendly environment where you can tell that everyone is motivated to grow the business and continuously improve. On the whole, morale is very good, which is so important if you are looking to be anywhere for an extended period of time. It's a challenging job, but also fun, and I am able to maintain a good work/life balance. There is a lot of potential to make money as you grow events.

    Cons

This is not a con for me, but you do travel quite a bit with the job, which can be difficult for some people, especially if you have kids at home. You often leave on Saturdays or Sundays to run events, so the schedule is not for everyone. As a producer, you usually don't go to more than 4 events a year, so it's pretty manageable.

    Pros

Great place for career development,. You're put on a path from the moment you arrive. Work hard, play hard mentality - lots of chance to mingle internally and meet different team members, departments etc at social events. Very friendly and inspiring management team compared to other places I've worked at!

    Cons

The air conditioning can be painful! :-)

    Pros

The positive and informal attitude of the management at WBR is a definite plus in working here. People work hard but the focus is on working together as a team to create success. Peers are happy to help you develop ideas or give you pointers on how to work the CRM system. Upper level management is very transparent about the operations in the company so you are always in-the-know about what is going on. If you are looking for a comfortable place to expand your skill set, this would be it.

    Cons

While everyone working here is generally friendly and great to work with, working with the Sales Department can get tough sometimes. I've had my share of frustrated moments working with them.
