I worked at Worldwide Flight Services full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Staff was incredibly pleasant to work with. Job duties were not to demanding, thought could be repetitious at times.

    Cons

Salary remained mostly stagnant over the six years of employment. There was very little room for job growth or learning opportunities on the job. Was on call 24/7 without relief.

    Advice to Management

Many very good employees left the company over the years due to stagnant wage growth. Most to other competitors at the same locations. In my six years with the company, I was not once reviewed on my job performance and offer advice on improvement nor additional compensation for outstanding performance. Employees need feed back from time to time to know they are preforming properly on the job.

I worked at Worldwide Flight Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are not a lot of benefits. However, you can learn to communicate and make relations. You will earn customer skills and how to be patient. You can easily get to touch with direct airline's employee. If lucky then you can get a chance to work directly for the airlines in future.

    Cons

I recently worked for them as a PSA and trust me the experience was exhausting. They always want you to work but don't want to pay. The payroll is always messed up so you have to check your punch in and punch out times every day to make sure you are getting the right pay. Sometimes they want you to work overtime but this company don't pay the overtime since it is against their company policy. The management sucks a big time. Supervisors don't know how to manage their team. For full-time, they don't even 30 mins break which is required by law for full-time employees. Always beware that they can put you in any position so it is not limited to check in passenger and you can't oppose. The life sucks as PSA so I suggest don't apply and find a much better job or apply direct from airlines.

    Advice to Management

Please make sure that the employees are getting what they earned. Don't cut off hours from their paycheck. Don't force people to do work which is not included in the job description. Respect employee since they are the big factor your company is running and you are getting the contracts.

I worked at Worldwide Flight Services (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good people trying to do a hard job. This kinda job is not for someone who is looking to slack off, it's hard work. Don't apply to a job like this unless you have what it takes to get the job done.

    Cons

No one works as a team its more everyone finds someplace else to be during the build up of flights.

    Pros

I really enjoyed the fast-pace of the job, as well as just being able to be around airplanes all day. That was something that was really interesting to me, and I never showed up to work unhappy that I was there.

    Cons

Depending on your station, your hours might be wonky. Started working 4:30 to 7:30 Am and 11:2 everyday which took some getting used too. Archaic employee website.

    Advice to Management

Probably pay for split shifts and compensation for commute. Spent a lot of time and money taking the car 10 miles to work every day.

    Pros

I met some great people working for WFS.
    Overtime opportunities.
    Hires just about anyone.

    Cons

    The pay could be better.
Didn't pay wages for time worked over scheduled time unless it was more than 15min.
    No flexibility with schedule.

    Advice to Management

Make them feel appreciated. There are some employees that go above and beyond for this company and they should be compensated in some way especially since the base pay is not enough for the job they do.

    Pros

Getting to work in an airport setting and being around other airline employees.
Flexible with schedule as long as you are staffed.
Always busy which means time goes by very quickly.
    Room for growth

    Cons

Paycheck would either not come on time, or paycheck would be less than what it was supposed to be.
    Abuse by regional manager.
Verbal abuse by employees and lack of respect for management.
    THEY HIRE ANYONE AND ANYTHING.
    Never staffed accordingly.
Must stay until your designated plane leaves. You could be at work longer than the time you were supposed to be there by about 7 hours max.
    Disgusting break room.
Horrible benefits package (NO FLIGHT BENEFITS)
Getting paid bare minimum for what one has to go through each day.
6 MONTH PROBATION PERIOD so God forbid you get sick or have a family emergency.
Everyday constant reminders that YOU are replaceable.

    Advice to Management

Talk to your employees with kindness and like you actually want to keep them around.
When something goes wrong do not automatically blame whoever answers the phone first.
    Go to payroll training.
Go through proper interview sessions instead of hiring whatever walks through your doors.
    Get some decent benefits.
Stop abusing your employees and learn how to make a schedule properly.
When promoting make sure it's not a default and that this individual is actually fit for the position.
