I worked at Wright Career College (Less than a year)

    Pros

Nice facility and overall nice people to work with on campus. Select Campus Staff/Faculty wanted the best for students.

    Cons

Preyed on people who could not get accepted to college anywhere else by commercials that promised "free" laptops, but really the fee was charged in their tuition. Some students could not read, so faculty were told to essentially dumb down the curriculum. Students would fight and act like they were in high school. Unqualified individuals employed as "Deans". Perpetual cycle of poverty, making students take out high student loans yet giving them degrees that they could not get employed with. Thus, if they cannot find employment, they cannot pay back their loans, ending in default.

    Advice to Management

School is now closed due to being under federal investigation thanks to the greed at the top. Archaic styles of leadership, forcing women on Admissions team to wear skirts and heels whenever the CEO came on campus.

I worked at Wright Career College full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I feel as though all of the faculty and staff did care about the students. I enjoyed working there and I enjoyed the students that attended Wright.

    Cons

I don't think it should have been a requirement for students to take online classes in every single program offered. Some people do not have internet access at home, which in turn made the student unsuccessful.

    Advice to Management

The only advice I would say is that the students should not have ever been required to take the online classes. I feel like the school lost a lot of enrollments because of this.

I worked at Wright Career College full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

overtime, great coworkers, and great students. Helping the students was a very rewarding feeling.

    Cons

Corporate, Corporate seemed to not really care about their employees, students, and only cared about the money. In the end that seems to be what was the destruction of the company.

    Advice to Management

Next time you open a business care more about your employees, and making a real difference rather than getting so swept up in the money.

I worked at Wright Career College full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Four nice coworkers. There are any others pros that I can thing of. Worst job ever! Just horrible and ridiculous!

    Cons

Chasing "students" to come to school for their education. Employees were harassed by their "boss" because "students" didn't come to class. Ridiculous situation!!

    Advice to Management

Never run a business again. Pay the employees you laid off before 2020.

I worked at Wright Career College full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great local faculty and administrators. I enjoyed teaching nursing and seeing these students thrive and learn. Flexible schedule and location

    Cons

Everything else. Horrible administration at corporate level. Closed without warning leaving students a week from completion and staff unpaid for several weeks of work

Rest of the college was a joke.. Students enrolled who racked up huge debt who couldn't read and write at a basic level.

    Advice to Management

    Never open another business
