    Approves of CEO

I worked at Wright-Patt Credit Union full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The top leadership truly has a heart not only for the customers (whom they call member-owners), and the employees (whom they call partner-employees). It's hard to evaluate the company apart from this distinctive of the senior leadership.

    Cons

Former VPs were not accommodating to work/life balance and hearing employee's voices. However, current leadership is.

    Advice to Management

Stick with the vision and mission of Senior Leadership. It makes being an employee and serving the customers ("member-owners") so much easier and enjoyable.

I worked at Wright-Patt Credit Union (More than a year)

    Pros

Fast paced lots of learning opportunities

    Cons

Work life balance is nonexistent. Every employee has several roles but gets paid for one. Opportunities arise from high turnover

    Advice to Management

Recognize your employees as actual people

I worked at Wright-Patt Credit Union full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Vacation time and benefits offered

    Cons

All political. If don't kiss up to senior management and HR, don't stand a chance. Once they don't like you, they will make up reasons to fire you and never tell you why. Don't investigate the real problem employees. If you state your opinion and disagree with a manager, pack your boxes. Employees can't voice their opinions. If you are friends with the CEO, who spends more time at Wright State than the Credit Union, then you can get away with anything. Senior and district level management very demeaning to employees that aren't favorites.

    Advice to Management

Get new senior management. Open your eyes and get rid of the true poison in the organization. Quit spending so much time in meetings and learn what your employees actually do on a daily basis, especially if you are new to dept. Just because you didn't tell them to do a certain task, don't assume they are doing something they shouldn't and fire them. Always get the employee side if the story and don t make assumptions on ignorance and perception. Learn your job.

I worked at Wright-Patt Credit Union full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great Personal Time Off, 10 days first year but it went up to 15 second year.
Opportunities to move up and get pay raises.

    Cons

    Some bad managers and locations.
Training took forever to get scheduled based off of your manager.
Most locations open until 7, they preach work-life balance, but how can that be accomplished when you work so late and have to be in at 8:30 the next morning?
