I have been working at WuXi AppTec full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Nice colleagues, stable and growing business, well-structured internal SOP/protocols, good work-life balance ( it definitely depends on your site/ department/ manager).

    Cons

Sometimes the workload is quite heavy for some group. Good benefit, however, the paternal leave is very short.

It's a great place to grow your skills and there are opportunities to learn for go getters.

    Cons

The job eventually becomes stagnant and it is hard to move up in the company. Many lazy employees that bring down the overall morale.

I have been working at WuXi AppTec full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Flexible working schedule, 401K, Sign up Bonus, PTO

    Cons

Upper management doesn't care to value their good employee. They make people work until late night/weekend/holiday without asking the employee's personal schedule. 20+ people turn over during the pandemic period. Yes, they made us work in the office. Also, weekend and holiday work is required.

I have been working at WuXi AppTec full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Not too sure what those would be.

    Cons

Management only cares about making money - employees are expected to work long hours for little pay. Don't expect to advance your career here.Make sure you get everything in writing - they promise a lot but don't follow through on those promises to employees. Low pay, no work life balance, no respect for workers.

    I worked at WuXi AppTec

    Pros

Great place to learn and grow. This is a growing company and with that are many opportunities to experience things you normally won’t get to see at other places. This is the place for hungry talent that is looking to add skills, experiences, and to challenge yourself. It’s no walk in the park because it’s a growing company but that’s the part I enjoyed most. Being part of contributing to a company and actually see the impact of my work, During my time at Wuxi I was able to grow and received a good amount of mentoring from certain leaders and specific HR employees. I was afforded many opportunities to move up within the company and was also able to help some of my employees move up as well. There are so many talented dedicated people that work here and it’s a great place to take ideas and bring them to life to drive improvement. There is a learning focused culture spearheaded by a business excellence team that paved the way for changes to be implemented. During my time at Wuxi introducing the BE was probably the biggest improvement made by the company that really sparked a new mindset of initiating change. Learning how the BE team operated allowed me to take that mindset and apply it working my team. Again this is a resource for those looking to learn and grow. Overall I enjoyed my time at Wuxi and cherish the opportunities I was given.

    Cons

Execution of change doesn’t always align with the vision that is published. As things funnel through the chain of command, great ideas get watered down as the leadership team reviews and weighs in.

I have been working at WuXi AppTec full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Corona virus 14 day quarantine pay

    Cons

Cancelled virus pay WuXi changed their mind. This is the reason for my review. I’ve heard all morning that people plan on coming in to work while sick. The head of one of the buildings even blamed everyone who had issue with the change for spending money on phones and expensive cars even though the risk is increasing daily. Personal desks for every individual in certain departments. Others share 3-10 computers for 10-30 people. Six feet social distancing is being enforced in the lunchroom. Now everyone can eat their lunches elbow to elbow at the work desks that are supposed to be shared for working. Good thing the desks aren’t as reliably cleaned as a lunch room and the bugs are back at desks thanks to these unfortunate events.
