I worked at Wunderman part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good humans. Healthy sense of teamwork and a noticeable camaraderie. Good work/life balance for a NYC ad shop. Active culture.

    Cons

No big gripes. Some shifting personnel. A few vacancies made some projects a bit tougher than they needed to be.

    Advice to Management

None really. They seemed focused on the right things.

I have been working at Wunderman as an intern

    Pros

Everyone was very nice and helpful. I got to work on a real campaign and develop it with a team. We got experience pitching our work to the ECD, strategy, and publicity teams.

    Cons

I don't really have any complaints. It is large and more corporate so it would come down to a preference in work culture.

I worked at Wunderman full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice friendly people, smart creative types, open workspace to engage with senior management. Good money, opportunity for growth and interesting side projects to work on, fun parties around holidays.

    Cons

Projects that require late nights and weekend work with very little appreciation from management. No holiday bonus. Some supervisors are micro managers. Some unintelligent people in higher ranking positions. Lots of boring, annoying, type A personalities on the Wunderman health side. Management will work you 24 hours a day and lay you off the next day.

    Advice to Management

Know, understand and appreciate employees that work late nights and weekends. Keep the smart, creative, driven, hard-working employees and lay off the robots.

I have been working at Wunderman full-time

    Pros

I'm fairly new to the Wunderman but have 7 years of experience in the Advertising industry and have never worked at a more collaborative agency! There are absolutely no egos and most people whom I have worked with across different disciplines have been team players, tremendously resourceful, bright and outgoing. The quality of life here is also great and senior management strongly cares abut the development of staff.

    Cons

IT is horrendous because WPP has most of the networks IT departments outsourced abroad with IBM in India thus causing requests to be outstanding for long periods of time.

I worked at Wunderman full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You get to work with great people on decent accounts.

    Cons

    Some teams are understaffed
Lack of a formal review process

    Advice to Management

Reward people for the work that they do in a timely manner, not only when they start seeking opportunities with other agencies.

I have been working at Wunderman (More than a year)

    Pros

Great clients, lots of smart and talented people, (somewhat) room to grow.

    Cons

Low morale. Leadership is completely disconnected. Processes are constantly changing. New branding and positioning every year. Company lacks direction.

    Advice to Management

Practice what you preach. New initiatives are great, but we have yet to see any outcome.

I worked at Wunderman (More than a year)

    Pros

Lots of nice, talented people. Positive work environment with a lot of opportunities for solid to good projects. Few negative experiences. 95% of the people I worked with ranged from good to great with just a few unlikeable ones. High level of professionalism in most instances. I made a lot of friends there and good contacts.

    Cons

Workflow can be unstructured. Project support can lag at times.

    Advice to Management

Do everything you can to be competitive on all fronts to stem the turnover of talented people.
