I worked at Wunderman as an intern

    Pros

Under the ZED intern programme, it was an enjoyable work experience as there were many people a like under the same programme. They had an open culture of cross sharing between inter-disciplinary. Pay was decent US$15/ hour. Senior management was very receptive to feedback from interns

    Cons

You will be assigned to a specific line manager to assist them . Little espoure to different functions of the business

I have been working at Wunderman full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Mostly friendly people, good work/life balance on many accounts. Good benefits/insurance etc. as part of Y&R Group.

    Cons

No company culture that is typically a "pro" of agency life -- this is something that is constantly raised with senior management to no avail. Work is often slow with many left twiddling their thumbs. Agency seems to be kept afloat by good name and holding company backing but is barely scraping by, and without these things wouldn't even exist. No real room for progression unless you threaten to leave the agency etc. Overall run by good and smart people but either there is not enough of an appetite for change, or there is an appetite for change but not enough money to do it.

    Advice to Management

Listen to employees. Strive for innovation and creativity rather than doing the same work on the same accounts. Remember what gave the agency its great name and work to reinvigorate that.

    Cons

There can be long hours, but that's true for any agency.

I have been working at Wunderman as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

Amazing exposure across a variety of clients. Amazing support from mentors. Structured work process and philosophy + a fun and casual environment to learn and thrive in.

    Cons

None I have come across so far.

    Advice to Management

Some people around me seem to be dissatisfied with some decisions and structures. Maybe a redressal system / 1-1 honest feedback session needs to happen.

I have been working at Wunderman as an intern

    Pros

I love the environment. People look for a way to help in every way possible and I feel that Learned so many things in a short period of time.

    Cons

I don't have any negative experience so far.

I have been working at Wunderman as an intern

    Pros

Everyone was very nice and helpful. I got to work on a real campaign and develop it with a team. We got experience pitching our work to the ECD, strategy, and publicity teams.

    Cons

I don't really have any complaints. It is large and more corporate so it would come down to a preference in work culture.

I worked at Wunderman full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice friendly people, smart creative types, open workspace to engage with senior management. Good money, opportunity for growth and interesting side projects to work on, fun parties around holidays.

    Cons

Projects that require late nights and weekend work with very little appreciation from management. No holiday bonus. Some supervisors are micro managers. Some unintelligent people in higher ranking positions. Lots of boring, annoying, type A personalities on the Wunderman health side. Management will work you 24 hours a day and lay you off the next day.

    Advice to Management

Know, understand and appreciate employees that work late nights and weekends. Keep the smart, creative, driven, hard-working employees and lay off the robots.
