I have been working at Wyandot Snacks full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great place to work! I have worked most of my adult career at Wyandot and find it to be very rewarding. Wyandot is a flat run organization in which you really feel like a part of a family. They are doing exciting things relating to creating unique "Better For You" plant based snacks for large food marketers, the foodservice market and now expanding into their own brand called Munch Rights. If you really want to play a part in shaping and growing an exciting company that is on the cutting edge of making great tasting "Better For You" snacks, this is the place to be!

    Cons

Unless you are high energy, willing to work hard and have fun in a fast paced environment...don't apply here. If this sounds like you...then you will probably fit in just fine.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work!

I have been working at Wyandot Snacks full-time

    Pros

Wyandot embraces new ideas and will invest in people. I've been here 2 years now (in the office) and I like the management model. People appreciate it when a good job is done and that's important to me. People here makes you feel valued.

    Cons

Not a lot drawing young professional talent to Marion

    Advice to Management

Update office regulations to make the work environment more attractive to a younger work force.

I have been working at Wyandot Snacks full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I give Wyandot four out of five stars, as my review title states, things are going to get even better.

The Pros: Great people, great products. I believe you should enjoy the people you work with, after all you spend a lot of time with them. I love the products we make as well. Beyond the "obvious", Wyandot has an incredible reputation in the industry, and has and continues to develop strong business relationships. This is done through a commitment to our customers, product innovation, pro-active relationships with our customers and truly partnering with them.

    Cons

Not many downsides. For me personally, it's a bit further north of Columbus than I would like, but it's still not a bad drive at all to the Columbus metro area. And while I really don't consider this a "Con", we are going through a culture change here, blending ideas and experiences as new folks come on board. I consider these necessary growing pains, but all are aligned and share the same common vision.

    Advice to Management

Keep pushing forward. The direction is right, the vision is clear!

Fire present leaders and get new leadership who knows how to mentor people instead of trashing them.
