I have been working at Wyman-Gordon full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Some very good people out numbered by many not so good ones.

    Cons

Pay is good, but not worth selling your soul. I started with the best intentions, driven, motivated, willing to learn and help others. Sadly I received non of that in return. Wyman is driven by individual agendas and a 80’s mentality.

    I have been working at Wyman-Gordon full-time

    Pros

All the over time you could want. Most of the other workers are pretty good people.

    Cons

Mandatory over time, no days off unprofessional and immature management. Horribly unorganized. Unless you are buddy buddy with somone high up you will never get a raise or promotion. I personally have never been treated less like a human in my life. Supervisors will tell you how good and reliable you are then if you ask for anything (raise days off) they belittle you and trash talk you to an extensive degree.

    I worked at Wyman-Gordon

    Pros

Above average salary. Overall good people below executive leadership.

    Cons

They do not believe people are their greatest asset. It is all about the bottom line and each fiscal quarter. To much turnover.

    I worked at Wyman-Gordon

    Pros

Some good people. Opportunities for improvement. Pay and benefits were average.

    Cons

Overall poor working attitude in union hourly. Very hostile managers that shame and belittle supervisors. Corporate managers visit and do the same to the staff. Very dirty and unsafe workplace. High turnover in all management, engineers, supervisor and Safety positions. Lazy people hide behind the union. It's all about making money for share holders. It's PCC's business model. Poor home work balance.
